So my buddy today was trying to tell me that instead of just buying headers i should buy a turbo header instead to save me money down the road. Im not even sure if i can do that just because im still learning and trying to figure things out!? Its because i am already running down a 3'' custom pipe and im not even sure if i would have enough back pressure!! HELP Please

 

Ummm.... I'm going to let someone more qualified then me answer this.

 

If you can custom fabricate the exhaust going from top of the headers down to the exhaust ,then why not ?....lol deffinitely will look funny, its like your header will be up side down

 

the question is, do you want a turbo or not?

 

dont buy any headers if ur staying NA for a while... when you turbo make sure u have all the money and do it all at once... not piece by piece and matching with ur NA motor

 

In the mean time, you can buy a turbo exhaust whistle in addition to your turbo headers, so you can have twice the cool factor while spending a tenth of the cost:

 

ok ok i see, so i have many options. now i wanna know is how much do turbo exhaust whistles cost? and do they make your car sound like a gay fart can?? cuz i want that deep drone in my exhaust.

I'm assuming a GE motor if he has stock headers.
Listen bro, dont by headers now if you plan on turbo'ing down the line. Stock sucks but just live with it and save your money until you can afford to do something worthwhile to the car... headers wont get you anywhere. Spend alot of time reading on this site as well as SupraForums and eventually your brain will be filled with all kinds of knowlege you would have never expected. Goodluck, and make sure you do plenty of research before you start modding your SC.

 

why not keep it stock til your ready to turbo... if you are planning to turbo

 

Yea i dnt have headers....good call guys. And trust me when i say this ive been on this site non stop everyday since i got my 92 2jz-ge for xmas last year.....it just dawned on me tht i should finally join.

And yea i also understand the value of good research, my dad has a badass tl and its all paid off because he did amazing research
