I was just joking, this thing is a BMW in and out. A de-tuned BMW
This may change soon 😏

BTW..the Supra you have isn’t really made by BMW…it’s made by an outsourced company called Magna.
I’ll have to check because I think I accidentally turned off the auto power folding mirrors when doors lock so I have to go back in and reenable it.

@BayeauxLex LOL I never claimed to be able to hang with any X7 lol. But lol that 2.0t X3 got its *** handed to it on a 90-115MPH little stunt at xmas when we were traveling.
LOL what were you driving?

agreed, but the M113K comes very close! and the way the 722.6 locks the torque converter very early in AMG spec helps
!
Okay.... I still don't get it. What exactly does it feel like?
Can you explain to me what I'm feeling or not feeling in MY car if I take off? I have never understood this.
You car is ludicrous but even the NA M113 is a torque monster. Just one stab of the gas, no downshift (so you remain in a high gear) and the speedo swings way up lol, around town for example. I also love using second gear start. Lexus should have offered this with the LS since the beginning.

LX! It's got pretty good highway legs for what it is, and is ideally geared. The 6 speed is at least. These mainstream 2.0ts run out of steam up top as we've discussed. A big V8 never runs out of steam like that.

You know how a V6 has to rev a bit to get its full TQ and is never as "right there" as a V8? Same deal

imagine an N/A M113 with even more low end torque and that's like 9 litres lol... you can feel the back of the car kind of squirming and shimmying around as the tires are basically being overwhelmed, when it's cold out like this even half throttle in 2nd will make the car dance a bit
car and driver got nearly 5 sec quicker 0-100 mph and trapped about 20 mph higher in the 1/4 mile test
to take off from a dig you actually need to be very careful and deliberate with the pedal inputs since 1st gear is always almost too much for the tires to handle, so one thing you're not feeling is the back constantly fighting for traction and the esp repeatedly kicking in lol

This plus the feeling of SO MUCH more thrust, I drove three S55s during my trial period for a serious flagship and it's nothing at all like an S500 M113.

how fast were you able to go? it's above 75 or so where it really comes into its own and those streamlined mercedes aerodynamics just make you sail past those 120+ mph speeds soooo effortlessly
