Though earthquakes are not common on the East Coast, when tbey do occur, they are felt over longer distances for the same intensity than in Califorioa because of the nature the underlying rock structure.

I'm really liking the new Pilot. It has a bit of that "fake ruggedness" that @Toys4RJill mentions but it's not over the top. Styling is on the conservative side which is good. Honda will sell a lot of these.

Yes, except for the good quality of Toyota engines/transmissions, I would probably take the average new Honda today over the average Toyota. And even some of the newer Toyota engines on the trucks have been having problems.

You mean like this line?

This was Nov 2021, the last time I went to a Costco gas station. And it's more than .20 cents, sometimes the savings is between .40 and .60 cents per gallon, plus 4 percent cash back

I was all ready for Costco membership until I found out they stopped taking American Express.

Really dumb move. That's all I use, for literally everything, one big bill that's basically everything paid same date each month. I'm not opening up a Visa just to go to Costco.

I got back $750 just from using the Costco Visa. Totally worth it if you shop there

How much do you put on it to get that much morey back?

The issue is, I have a gold Amex that is 4xs food points. From grocery stores to McDonalds. We rack up points ridiculously, and if we shopped for food at Cosco like many do, we wouldn't get that Amex benefit bc it's not a grocery store. I feel like twice a year we get some expensive toy for free with the Membership Rewards points. It's like we have 100,000 points racked up in no time.

It's 4 percent, including non Costco spending. Almost everything goes on the credit card. I don't get that much back every year, that particular year we bought some big ticket items. In a normal year I get back around $350

My uncle moved to Bay Area when he was 18. He moved back to Texas when he retired. Idk what kind of house he had in the Bay but he currently has a couple of nice homes with few acres and more acreage with 🐎🐎 on it. This is my uncle with the Rolls and Range Rover that daily’s an Accord Hybrid. Old F250 powerstroke stays on his farm.

Retire in Texas @AMIRZA786 and live like a 👑

My friend with couple Teslas said with gas at $2.50 he’s not saving money vs driving a 40mpg hybrid vehicle. Factoring in insurance and his utility bill as well. His insurance is a lot more than I pay and we’re with the same company.

@patgilm found an old popular spot for some testing but I don’t think I have the tire for a good launch. I didn’t try it. I cruised the lane and it didn’t feel 100% planted plus the few businesses along the way were still open. Fiddling around today on highway I dropped over 2 seconds on the 60-130mph from stock.

Still on Map 2. I’ve thought a couple times I should’ve sent my ECU overseas and call it a day. Not ruling it out but watched a video of unlocked ECU MHD tune vs JB4 custom tune and the hp difference was +17 for the unlocked tune but the torque was identical.

Guys on Supra forum helping me by looking at my logs want me to splash a 🌽. Will report my findings. Still on the 2nd map before get the ok to turn it up.

I've spent a lot of time in Texas (San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and Houston) and I love the people, but thanks, but no thanks. Summers are miserable, and so are winters. I once got stuck in Houston during a hurricane. No thanks. My coworkers were without power and water for a week one winter. No thanks. I'll visit, that's about it

Not a huge fan of E85 personally, I like seeing what I can do on pump gas since it is so readily available.

You should have seen when I would do my runs, I would head out to one of the big highways near me at 11:30pm at night since there isn’t much traffic at that time. My wife would just roll her eyes at me when she would ask, where the heck are you going? lol
