General Car Conversation 2025 - Part 1
years ago when i worked at the dealership one of the food trucks was an F250 (or 350 who cares) chassis with the V10, i comment to the guy about it having the V10 and he was immediately ready with like a 40 second spiel about what a horrible engine it was and how much gas it used without any sort of positive return... one day he never showed up again maybe it has something to do what what you're saying lmao
Uh this is the hierarchy in terms of what goes first to last/how much I like the cars. Exception is the Sequoia because it's so damn useful it needs to stay around, if that wasn't a factor it would be before the LS460.
The stupid Jeep has served so well and been such a fun car/so many experiences with it that it has become a permanent fixture in the family/friend group. None of my other cars can claim stuff like shot a .50 BMG out of the back, driven blackout with NVGs, forded 2.5 feet of water at night on a hill, jumped 5 ft through the air, used as a practice vehicle for shooting techniques, and on and on....
Mercedes
Jetta
S4
Passat
4.0 A8
LS460
D3
Phaeton
Jeep
Sequoia
D4 W12
Truck

The 2 valve tritons would eject spark plugs
The 3 valve tritons dealt with that but used a 2 piece spark plug that would break off in the head when you tried to change it.
I would never own a Triton engine.
Coyote is life.

All hail the 5.0! Best thing you ford guys have for sure
my friend has the coyote in his 2014 mustang GT and it's a great engine, you'd never guess it shared so much DNA with the absolute pig 2 valve modular in the crown vic interceptor lol
I have NO idea. My friend lives in the area of that neighborhood in a traditional house, so I've been in there quite a few times...
It just makes zero sense. Some fool can walk right up and steal your water heater. I would not feel my car was secure ONE BIT either in that situation.

You could bounce a meteor off of those things.
I always thought those were ugly as sin, though, the W123 in all forms.
Haha and here I thought I was gathering 12 cyl cars.....
You are probably right AMIRZA, the only stock V8s I have (if we count turbo swaps etc as modded) are the LS460 and Sequoia. That said I'm really tempted to supercharge the Sequoia because it may even gain some MPG!
