Hey, I wasn't trying to poopoo on your new ride. Like I said, almost every single one I have seen is like that. I probably wouldn't have really noticed except it caught my eye at night due to the light strip that drew attention to it. It can probably be adjusted, but I'm not going to risk having someone in a tech center screwing up his car. He doesn't care about it and doesn't really care for the lighting and keeps it turned off. The build quality for the rest of his car is fantastic.
And Tesla did a great job with the black interior. I don't normally care for black interiors because I feel like they are just plain and a blob of black. But Tesla used different materials and textures to break up the sea of black and give it some definition and character. You can really tell that every aspect of the design was thought out.
Haha I didn't take it that way. You are 100 percent correct, if it has no other purpose than looks, than it should be aligned properly. It doesn't bother me, but some people it does.
And yes, the materials and textures are excellent 👌
Congrats! Im worried about the stalkless design but glad you got used to it pretty quick.
Easy to get used to. I still sometimes go for the phantom signal stalk, but for me it's not a big deal. I can see me reaching for the steering wheel when I have to drive the Y
Any imperfections are immediately forgotten upon driving one of these cars. They are that good.
Forget about stalks; the car knows which way to go when you get in. Our's starts in reverse when in the garage, a parking spot, etc. Or in forward if it makes more sense.
The blinkers took me 30 seconds to get used to.
Amirza you will come to appreciate your car more than you can know. I thought I would miss our beloved '18 Mid Range, and I wish I had passed it onto a friend or family, but this car is on another level.
Dare I tell you, "I told you so?" The Model 3 has grown up.
ah ok, so the polestar's gone and yeah i know the bolt was your daughter's but still an impressive electric battalion.
Nobody can say I don't go "all in" 🤣. Barring anything changing like one of my cars getting totaled, no plans to buy another car for a long while. I'm done 👍. Ioniq 5 lease is up in July, and it's not being replaced. When my son gets out of college, he either takes the Sienna or buys his own car
