Does anyone use Lexus Enform Remote Start with success?

I'm able to lock and unlock my car's doors with the Lexus app and the key fob but cannot remote start the car with either the app or the key fob.

When I try to remote start using the Lexus app the app screen displays it's processing the remote start and the car's lights blink correctly but the car doesn't start.

When I try to remote start using the key fob the car's lights blink correctly but the car doesn't start.

The Lexus app Notifications says Remote command failed (Because either [D1] or [E0] - (See screen shot of app notifications below - some of which don't apply to trying to remote start).

I see that other Lexus Enform Remote users have experienced the same failure results when attempting to remote start their vehicle using the app or their key fob.

Any suggestions or advice?

My 15 GS was so bad I requested a refund. Car was outside in an area with full bars and I had a remote start success rate under 10%.

I've never even tried remote start. I'm not surprised it's giving you difficulty. Unless I'm within 10 feet of my car the fob won't even unlock the doors.

No need to retype it because Enform was a POS for me too.

I don't use it often, but I've never had an issue with my IS 500. I have also used it on my 2021 IS 350 and my 2016 IS 300, and it rarely ever failed. If it did fail, I could usually point to something like being on an elevator or in a basement.

I found out why my Lexus Enform Remote Start won't start my 2018 GS 450h, and what is needed to have the Lexus Remote Start to work.

Per Lexus, I need to have a DCM 'Handshake' update made to the Data Communications Module in my car.

According to Lexus my 2018 GS 450h needs the DCM update per Service Bulletin L-SB-0006-19 (see below) , starting with Step K (for my 2018 GS 450h) per the following:

If anyone with the Lexus app and a paid subscription for Remote that has a problem with the Lexus app or Smart key fob not starting the car, you might want to look into Lexus Service Bulletin L-SB-0006-19 to see if your Lexus vehicle needs a DCM Handshake update to get your remote start to work. I have added the Lexus Service Bulletin L-SB-0006-19 as an attachment in this post...

Same here. I use it occasionally and it typically works with no issue.

I got my DCM updated (initialized) this morning so there is now a handshake communication for both the key fob and the 'My Lexus' app with the car's Remote Start feature. Both work flawlessly to remote start my 2018 GS 450h!

Default Lexus enform won't start car

This video solved my problem with the Enform app not starting my car. The app showed status (such as tire pressure, doors unlocked, etc.) but would not start the car.
Hope it helps you.
