Heh, I recognize the wheels on that test mule.

Is it just me, or does the hood look weirdly long on the new 5-series?

It does look long. Maybe it's the camera angle? I looked at my 2019 5 Series and that pic does make it look a lot longer.

the trunk on that camo'd test car looks extremely short.

just want to say the proportions and color (and wheels) of your 3 series look stunning. to use the hugely overused term, yours is 'proper'... short front overhang, nice wheel to door proportion, no insane creases or curves, just great.

The current 3 series is the best looking one in awhile. Part of the reason is that it sorta looks like an IS in the rear . If the 4 series had the regular grill vs. the beaver teeth, it too would be an attractive car.

Current 3series looks like Infiniti Q50 with Lexus taillights.

It was a huge deviation from cornerstones of BMW design. The side profile of the car is a complete mess with lines running everywhere.
The new 2series actually looks good from the side and is instantly recognizable as a BMW - just wish the rear was designed better.

That camo tricks the eye. I hope the proportions look better with it removed. Nice that it doesn't appear to have the beaver grill. The current G30 proportions look better to me

Its still better than the super boring F30. I actually like the older 2 series looks in M form with the wider fenders. Thats a beautiful car. The new 2 series looks like it should be a 4 series as its so big.

Everything's going the way of the "4-door coupe"

That is a sweet paint color - really gives that 5-series a unique vibe compared to the mostly white and black 5-series I see all over town here.

Honestly I think the G30 is one of the better-looking 5-series that have been produced - certainly in the last couple decades.

Seems like no 3-series snout, first good sign
