So is the X in the running to get added to your stable, Bit? Did you like it enough that you could picture yourself owning it? And what would you get rid of (if anything) if you buy it?

not itching to do it, but glad i had a test drive. i liked it a lot, but not sure i need a vehicle that large. i guess if i got it i'd replace the lc500 which would be an odd trade, lol.

That would be an odd trade, but I'd be interested in that LC500 if you ever decide to sell it...! And I'm just a few hours south of you so easy to grab it!

Heads up @bitkahuna . If you do actually sell your LC, trading it in to Tesla is NOT advisable even though you will pay less sales tax on the X ( the difference between the trade in value and the X). It's not advisable simply because Tesla is not in the business of selling used cars and will offer way below market value for your LC.

thanks... i didn't see trade in options anywhere on tesla's website recently, but yeah, i know they're gonna massively lowball.

Yeah, there's never been any mention anywhere on Tesla's website regarding trade ins as far as I'm aware.
The trade in option is only visible after you've placed an order for a new/used Tesla.
There is an option to specify if you're trading in another vehicle when the process has gone to the stage where the new/used car is ready for you to start the paperwork of payment/delivery etc
I've played with it a couple of times. The value it offered for my Land Rover and one of our Lexus' was under the number we likely could have obtained elsewhere without too much effort. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't particularly competitive. We don't get any sales tax break in California on trade ins so you have to maximize the value the old fashioned way.
One thing to consider with those heavy FL rains. If there's standing water on/near the falcon wing doors and you open it, they can drip a lot into the interior
