I don't know of many vehicles that have a cup holder in between the steering wheel and the driver door. The 2nd gen RX has one that slides out. Kind of strange to me.

BMW was late to the game as well offering remote start. It wasn't available on the 5 series until the LCI in 2021, I believe. My 17 doesn't have it.

The G30 5 series had its LCI in 2021 and that's when it got remote start. They technically got iDrive 7 in 2020, but I don't think remote start was enabled until 2021.

That makes sense, my 2020 M340 and my 2021 X7 has it so I assumed they had it for a while. I just figured it had been an option for a while since my 2012 GX and my 2018 Durango had it. Originally Posted by FrankReynoldsCPA
