You underestimate how awesome Toyota body on frame SUVs are, the ones from Japan…..I LOVE my two SUVs. The GX550, they got everything right. (I do admit I haven’t seen it). But looking at the design…the got everything right. I finally like Toyota digital screen gauges. How its recessed looks good (compared to Tundra)
the only thing that could put this over the top is if a solid axle was offered as an option and manual sliding rear quarter windows
BOF just ain't his preference the way it is for us and that's fine.
Some people like crossovers, some people like BOF tanks, some people like half-ton pickups.
I bet there will be markups. This does appear to be a knockout. The interior needs more luxury and I think long-time GX owners would agree (it may be dated in old one, but it's very luxurious), but I don't think that's going to stop these from selling like hotcakes.

The markups will probably cool considerably once the Land Cruiser version comes out. I would suggest all interested to wait until then.

fake leather wasn't a thing much until recent years either. so were ashtrays and cd players.
Looks like you can't get that saddle brown interior I just posted with the Overtrail trim. So annoying. Lexus packaging really is infuriating sometimes.
