GLS is basically just a stretched GLE, right? Although, in my opinion a more proportionately attractive vehicle. GLE is kind of ugly.

It’s the same platform and the interiors are largely the same, but they’re all different body panels etc. I agree the GLS is much better looking.

Learn something new every day just like the X7 is just a stretched X5 and I didnt know that about the GLS, I just thought it was the 7 series and S class but the SUV version. I do agree that the interior and exterior of the RR just looks more elegant/special to me than X7/GLS.

I wish the Bentayga wasn’t so ugly. I love the way it drives.

I hate those. They are so dinky, zero presence.

They look just like your standard crossover grocery getter.

I'm glad they drive well at least.

your choice of course, but since you have the van, why do you need a large 3 row suv as well?

I thought this video was very interesting.

5.7 Toyota iForce. (US made)

I won’t ruin or spoil it. But, a few things I never knew. The 5.7 has two timing chains. Is practically a glorified 3.5 2GR engine.@Striker223 @AJT123 @SW17LS

If you look at the rear windows, the GLS has one extra piece. I do think RR is a more luxurious SUV. IMO all GLE/S and pre LCI X5/X7 look great and offer unique features. GLS is now the most common SUV on my streets. I think the new lights look good. GLE non AMG appearance doesn't look as bad as GLS non AMG.

RR by far the best looking of the non massive, non BOF category, and it’s not even close.

Bentley Bentayga is NOTHING next to a RR, looks and presence wise.

Have 3 of them. Currently on a 1,430 mile roadtrip in one with 227,700 miles. 10k mile synthetic oil changes. Half of the 1,430 mile roadtrip will be pulling a 8.5 x 24ft enclosed trailer. Helluva an engine.

I don’t need an SUV, but I would like an SUV for several reasons. I like the high riding position, I like how they are easier to get in and out of, I like how you don’t have to worry about curbs etc, I also like that it’s something different.

The third row, I would take or leave. The third row would mean that we could drive it on trips to WV and it does have value there since we do things that are easier to do in an SUV. I like the GLS and X7 more than the GLE and X5 I would probably just leave the third row stowed almost all the time. Range Rover I would probably get the SWB with the 2 rows.

As for curb, MB does it best. When you get close to a curb or obstacle it would bring up the 360 view. Just awesome. Tesla is trying something like this but their imaging is just weird.

I wish it would also display the front camera when you approach the curb like Chrysler does.

I am a little bit surprised the owner of that Tundra actually went ahead and did all that just for the sake of a ticking noise. The mechanic even said that the part that was changed out doesn’t fail … but $5000 for all that seems like a mistake
