Are they including the level 1 charger again? I had to pay $230 for mine. Oh well, at least I got to use it recently in FL. It was all we had for about 2 months until our permit was approved to upgrade our panel and 60A run to the garage. It was well worth the investment.

yes they include with juniper Y but even better, it’s not just level 1. it has both regular plug and nemo 14-50 connector and can do (i think) 20A connection.

I think it's always come with the 5-15 and 14-50 cables, but you need to purchase a 5-20 for 20A (16A) charging.

thanks… ok rather than guessing any further i decided to look it up…

i now see the mobile connector’s 14-50 adapter can use 32A delivery on a 50A breaker circuit.
i see the 5-20 optional adapter for a 120V 20A circuit.

bought a storage container for the cargo area… initially got it for the ioniq then had an idea… i can just use it’s two side handles to move it from ioniq to tesla quickly!

I have something very similar in my trunk, its great because I can just grab the whole thing and take it from one car to the other, or take it out and put it in the garage when I need the whole trunk. Has all my "realtor kit" stuff, light bulbs, toilet cleaner and disposable brushes, glass cleaner and rolls of paper towels, 9v batteries for smoke detectors, lockboxes etc

first experience with tesla mobile service today. guy came in stated time window. the appt was to install the homelink device.
i told the guy i didn't want to watch him rip open under the hood and to just knock on the door if he needed me.
i came out about 15 minutes later and he was already gone.

so i setup my (dumb) garage doors and gate opener remotes into the homelink (easy enough but had to view the owner's manual to see where to start). conveniently, you can view the owner's manual on the big screen from an option in the (non-obvious) service option.

about the homelink... in tesla fashion it's hands down the smartest setup i've ever experienced.

you can tell it to trigger an open/close when you're within a certain distance of your garage/gate. by doing that i can just drive up and magically things open.

only downside... while gate remote is always an 'open' command, for a garage door it's ambiguous... same code, and if it's open it closes and if it's closed it opens, so if the car is approaching the garage and the door is open the car will send a signal to the garage which will cause it to start closing. not optimal. apparently it doesn't give a few seconds option to cancel the automatic command. haven't messed with that yet, but it worked perfectly with the gate.

before getting it i was thinking they'd have to replace the rear view mirror where i've been used to having buttons for ages. but of course, no buttons in this implementation, it's on the screen, but even better, no buttons needed at all in most scenarios.

All dry and shined up. Really glad I bailed on the red and went for the black.

Black is the best color IMO

I had a '79 T/A in black. I spent more time cleaning it than driving it. Never again!
