I think the i7 is one of the best looking sedans on the road today. It has a serious presence. I'm scared to go look at one honestly, I don't need that level of temptation in my life.
i guess 'presence' for most people means they go 'wow' when they see it, and are impressed by it's size. to me that typically just means it's obnoxiously big and ugly and the front of the i7 definitely fits that description for me.

I don't use the word "presence" to be correlated with size. It just means that car has a very high end and regal feel to it. I'd say that about it from a side angle.

The front is definitely not that pretty (neither are any of the Lexus grills over the last few years), but the rest of the car looks great, IMO. And it's about the Luxury this car offers. And let's not forget the performance. If anything, I think this would be a car for @SW17LS if he decides to cross over to the dark side. Although it is pricey, but there will probably be some great leasing offers. Right now you can lease an i4 M50 for $999 a month and an i7 eDrive50 for $1,159 a month. They are also offering 2.99 percent financing
I do find it interesting that BMW didn't leverage a frunk in the i7. Anyone know why?
It's pretty simple, actually. This is an ICE platform transformed into an EV. Although my Polestar has a frunk, it's very small due to it sharing the platform with it's Volvo ICE counterpart
But what is up front in the i7? Watched Doug's review and from 20:30 for almost 2 minutes he's got the engine hood open but never once says how or why they didn't use this as a frunk... How is that not a "quirk"??
In the comments of that video is a great one liner. Someone says "I was in the market for a sedan. The BMW i7 is 212 inches which is a little too long for my garage, so I went with a 2012 Civic instead." Made me laugh out loud.
Like I said in another thread, the i7 is the most impressive car I have ever driven. The ride, isolation and refinement are truly Rolls Royce level. I'm seriously considering one.
I've grown to really like how it looks, the interior puts the new S Class to shame too
I prefer the look of that 7 over that S class. I like the roofline better, window trim shape is better, and the proportions make the car look awesome to me. It's unique.
