Like I said in another thread, the i7 is the most impressive car I have ever driven. The ride, isolation and refinement are truly Rolls Royce level. I'm seriously considering one.
I've grown to really like how it looks, the interior puts the new S Class to shame too
If I was spending $130K, this is where my money would go!
I prefer the look of that 7 over that S class. I like the roofline better, window trim shape is better, and the proportions make the car look awesome to me. It's unique.
The W223, while beautiful doesn't stand out, the 222 stands out IMO, as much as I like how the 223 looks, its beautiful and sleek, theres almost something boring about it. The 7 is not boring, it makes a statement which is not a bad thing in a vehicle people buy to make a statement.
The other reality is, if you want the EV powertrain and the incredible driving experience it provides, then the W223 doesn't offer that.
The front is definitely not that pretty (neither are any of the Lexus grills over the last few years), but the rest of the car looks great, IMO. And it's about the Luxury this car offers. And let's not forget the performance. If anything, I think this would be a car for @SW17LS if he decides to cross over to the dark side. Although it is pricey, but there will probably be some great leasing offers. Right now you can lease an i4 M50 for $999 a month and an i7 eDrive50 for $1,159 a month. They are also offering 2.99 percent financing
The i7 will be considerably more than that to lease. No tax tag or doc fee in that payment and thats on a car with no options. Very few will order a car at 100k and not add a single option.

I agree. That was a lease I pulled off of my local BMW's website, it was a certain trim, and it doesn't include tax or license
Pros:
Spacious, comfortable Luxury
Tons of Standard and available Tech features
Extremely smooth and Quiet ride (auto leveling suspension)
Effortless acceleration (0 to 60 in 4.3 seconds)
HUD
Cons:
Limited Cargo Space
Tech interface is way overcomplicated, not intuitive
Built on a shared ICE platform, so lots of compromises
Rear floor transmission tunnel
I want to thank Stevens Creek BMW for allowing the test drive. I also appreciate that they backed off when I said NO to making a deal. This seems to be a hot seller, as they only had two left. The model I test drove was a 2023 i7 xDrive60, Dual Motor with 536 HP and 549 ft-lbs Torque. First impressions is that it definitely has presence. I'm not a fan of the front grill, but it's not something that's a deal breaker (that would be the price ). It has very comfortable front seats that can be adjusted, and it's very roomy. The front screens catch your attention immediately:
I found them to more eye candy, with too much going on for my liking. Also, it took me a moment to figure out how to start the car and get it in gear, but those familiar with BMW's will feel at home and have no trouble, as it's setup pretty much like their ICE siblings. But my favorite part was putting my foot down on the accelerator. Nothing but pure, smooth silky power! Add instant torque, and you in pure bliss! We hit the freeway, and before I knew it we were doing 98 MPH LoL! Because of the smooth motors and BMW suspension setup, it literally felt like we were doing 50! I recently drove my friends M5 (4.4L TT V8, AWD 8 speed) which is an amazing car, and this thing would eat it's lunch, than steal it's lunch money. All without breaking a sweat .
I've driven in a lot of luxury vehicles, and this is by far the smoothest, quietest vehicle I've ever driven as far as luxury vehicles go. The Germans know how to isolate you from the road, and this vehicle is no exception.
What I didn't like was the compromises due to sharing with an ICE platform. No frunk, hump on the rear floor, and smaller trunk. Also, the tech is just unnecessarily over complicated. I did like the HUD, and the fact that it has Android Auto/Apple CarPlay is welcome, because that's all I would probably use.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a Luxury EV, this is definitely luxury comfort. I would 100 percent pick this over a Lucid. For someone who is familiar with German cars, especially BMW, you will feel at home!
Interior is not far away from being great chuck that needless center **** cluster and clean up the screen area and it would be sweet. Efficiency is quite bad. Price is not a deal breaker for me the styling is I downright hate it and I rarely hate styling, usually that it is not my taste.
Is that a speaker grille partially covered by the screen? I'm now convinced there is a glut of gloss black plastic piled in a warehouse somewhere.
Nice review, @AMIRZA786 !!! Looks like a decent spec on the i7.
Bought 3 cars from Stevens Creek BMW, a couple of V8 5 Series and my X5. They were always pretty easy to deal with.
Thanks! Yeah, they were really cool. As soon as I told the sales guy I'm only looking and not ready to buy, he made one attempt at offering me a "sweet lease deal", but then backed off. It's an excellent car, but just not for me. This is more up @SW17LS 's alley!

That's actually carbon fiber. Too much going on for my taste, but amazing the way it drives. This over a Lucid any day if I was looking for a luxury car
