Stopped by a different dealer today, and they had several Es without the super screen, that would be my choice:

Not feeling it. Seems like a step backwards.

Having a choice is good, no?

The previous interior design looked better.

I actually really like that detail over the passenger/glove box area. Looks great to me even it's it faux wood.

I would absolutely get an E450 over a 5 series or an A6. I don't even know what Audi is up to anymore. They're stuck in 2016 imo.

Oh no question the 5 Series, the A6 is pretty sharp.

A6 has a weird interior with the screen in the center . I don’t even know what a 5 series looks like inside

I'm guilty of being "locked in" on the 5 series always looking like the E39. The Bangle era and whatever came after that has been so uninteresting to me and it keeps getting worse.

I feel like I saw BMW design at it's peak and now it's deteriorating to embarrassing levels.

Yep I noticed that too at the dealer, forget the screen there and on with the wood.

The current A6 came out in 2019, which isn't that old. The next one will be a pure EV.

Design-wise, the A6 has aged pretty well.

Granted, I'm a little biased, but I really enjoy the G30. It seems like one of the last normal looking BMW's.

It's weird that there's so few E450 reviews out there, but at least Doug got his hands on one:
