Seems like an easy software fix if they really wanted to do it.

I finally got my car back woohoo!

Also it shuts off when changing lanes and you have to reset your speed, there is no resume button. No reason they need to shut it off when changing lanes, others cars don’t do that.
My speed stays set when I change lanes, as long as I use my signal. The auto steer needs to be re-enabled, though.

Ah yes I misspoke, you are correct, I conflated the two. I wish it didn’t disengage autosteer when you changed lanes or put too much pressure/correct the steering like other cars. For cruise control I wish you could resume the speed you previously set if it disengages so you didn’t have to reset the speed again.

The good news is you can set the speed and use the Right scroll button to adjust the speed back where you want it. Not as efficient, but it works

Wow I was talking with a friend and he was telling me for something like this he could get for around 46. That's a crazy drop in a few months.

Yep! And the price has dropped since I purchased mine. A Long Range is $39,390 and a Performance is $43,392...crazy! When I bought mine, it was $49,990.....Tesla is sticking the knife in the ribs of other automakers. It's bad for people like me who bought a few months back...but good for the consumer

It's not 39,390. That's not the price. It's "after probable savings". The price is still 50,490. But when you purchase, you can easily knock off 10%. I remember this model was not much far different from mine. With these numbers, they more than justify for the purchases. Yeah too bad for you and the ones bought before you. And white is no longer free which is kind of weird because it was free in consumers' view. I heard they gave you/previous owners credits to make up?

Oh sorry, I had the settings wrong! They will knock off $1000 for current/previous owner, I'm a first time Tesla buyer so I didn't get any credits. Also if I send a referral link, you get $1000 off the purchase price. I'm not really worried about the price drops, as I'll be holding long term

There were some deals on "in stock" vehicles, like the ones you're referencing back when I purchased in July. The deals were only around $1k off. though. You do have to remember that these can be customer rejects that were repaired by the SC. It was worth it to me to wait for a fresh one. Maybe $5k off would have been tempting.

Maybe this wass back then. Now the price is lower, the build time is less (a month or so) and due to limited options/features, it's almost certain that there's one already built like yours coming/sitting somewhere near you that you can knock off another 5k.

I just went online. Price is the same as when we bought. There are just more options to accept existing inventory. Actually, it's $1k more, since white is now an extra cost.

Tesla keeps poking everyone's eyes with their price cuts. Back in January, if you wanted to even buy a Camry you had to deal with crazy ADM's. There were absolutely no deals. Now look:

You won't find any interests rates that low, even from a credit union. Right now the best you can get is 6.09 percent, so you know Toyota is eating some of that interest

Here you go. Someone grabs it before... another one shows up.

In my area, there is only one available in inventory, and it's $1000 more:

Yeah, those are the ones people either rejected or backed out of all together. If you were allowed to check it out ahead of time, that would make it less stressful. You have to put $250 down and roll the dice!
