Today I parked beside a white Soarer with a JIC-style bodykit at the Lucky 97th Supermarket around 10AM. Anybody from this forum?

It's so rare to see Soarers or SC's around here, so I took a photo! Definitely should've backed in...

 

I see a green Soarer with gold wheels around Rice-Howard all the time.

View out my office window. There used to be a green LS430 parked up there every day. It had 20" chrome wheels, looked sharp. $20 a day to park up there! who can afford that?

 

$20 a day is cheap! it's like $30+ in Calgary. I hate this city.

I know hey? Oh well, I spent a good amount of time in small town Alberta, I will always be an Oilers fan haha.

We've been putting a good push to try to get some kind of scene going. It's hard, people are typically too old to really be into the car scene in Lexae. But I will say, there's a meet at Sylvan in the works for April/May sometime. That way Calgary and Edmonton cars can easily make their way up/down. Are there ever meets in Ed?

I'll be watching for info on that spring meet at Sylvan, I hope the snow's gone by then. Good comment about the older Lexus crowd. I went to Lexus Edmonton's customer appreciation night, and while I appreciated the excellent food and fancy booze (I let the wife drive home) it was the biggest crowd of stiffs I've ever seen. Mohammed, the parts manager in Edmonton, seems to be a bit of an enthusiast - they do stock F-sport parts.
I've been to the 780Tuners meets and they're a pretty OK crowd, although the only Lexus are 1st gen Aristos and a couple Soarers, mine's the only 2GS there.
In non-winter months 780Tuners meets Friday nights at United Cycle on Calgary Trail. Maybe you can post info about the Sylvan meet on their site too. I know I've seen Bippu147 on 780Tuners as well.

On the way home from work tonight I spotted an 11' 2IS. I could see the familiar looking LED's from quite the distance, looked black and was going East on 23rd ave. I have only seen 1 other 11' in the city and it was a white one. If you are on these boards hello! I was the other black 2011 going the opposite direction

 

Hey sorry bout bumping this thread, just noticed your from ed. I drive and 95 sc400, and i was just looking around for meets. I go to 780 at united every friday, only seen a soarer there, but all the SC's in my neighbourhood are driven by 60+guys. THey have nice cars and i see them everyday, but there not down for a lex meet up i bet. Anyway, just stoppin by to see whats up.

I was driving behind / beside a silver Aristo last week on yellowhead between 75th street and 97th street. i took the 97th street off ramp and he kept going west on yellowhead
