The one at the meet was a 1GS, or Aristo to be more precise

You guys would rather store your cars over winter and take the bus? Oh dear... especially given Vancouver's winters are just usually more rain. I can understand leaving it at home when it snows, but for the whole winter?!

I still drive in the winter but as soon as it snows, i'll be taking the bus instead, don't feel like driving an rwd car in the snow had a lot of fun last winter when my car got stuck going up hill...

Yeah.. La Nina has us lined up for a snowier winter.

Does anyone know where I can get Nokian WRs in the States? Up here, I got quoted anywhere from $736 in N. Van to $846 in RC (wtf). Across Canada, someone in ON paid $500 and change for theirs and someone in Alberta paid $500 and change (was $600 but got a $100 discount) for his. Both were factory sizes. So given that, I'm not paying up to $300 more just because we're on the west coast.

Hmm.. here are my Spotted list for today

2IS GFM, 16" alloys, tinted @ UBC highway
ES350, SGM, rims turning left from Alma onto.. what is it.. Cornwall?
2IS Obsidian, UBC Parking Pass @ SW Marine
2IS SGM, UBC parking pass @ SW Marine

good choice on an all season rated for winter tire. i have had them on my highlander for 2 years already, great in summer, great in winter. but expensive. i paid almost $900 CAD for a set of 4. the only place i know that carries them is kal tire.
