Hi All

I wouldn't mind attending a local meet with you guys sometime, but I can't drive south of the border until I get a new birth certificate. All I have for I.D. at the moment is a driver's license which is probably not good enough anymore.
Once I have a replacement certificate (application for one has been sent), I'll be investing in a passport, which I suppose we are all going to need in the not too distant future when visiting the U.S.
Anyways, nice to see (by this thread) that there are at least some ppl in B.C. with impeccable taste in automobiles!

i can confirm that it's not. i tried to buy gas in sumas wa about 2 months back and was turned back at the border. they rejected my driver's license and wanted either a citizenship card, birth certificate (miniature), or passport. i haven't been back or done anything since so no more x-border shopping for me... damn 9/11

I always have at least one or two Canadian Tire bucks laying in my car somewhere.....wouldn't they be considered the equivalent of a Canadian citizenship card? ....hmmm......maybe not. Prolly get charged for trying to bribe a Customs officer with funny money!

Not sure when to expect the new B.C. to arrive. It's coming from Manitoba and I only just mailed the application. I think the process can take a couple of months.

So has a date been set? I'll probably have to wait for a future meet. Just take lots of pics for us guys who are (temporarily) stuck on this side of the 49th parallel .......

only if it's held just north of the border crossing, or if someone can get me a birth certificate card sooner than the 6-8 week wait from victoria

Awesome colour kratos ! That's the best colour for the SC, IMHO.

Well, here's mine. Pretty much all stock except for the tint, but I like her!
