Hello Friends
I only joined the club about 2 months ago. I bought a 92 LS400 in February, 06 and I am just starting to get into maintenence and DIY. I would be interested in a Lexus meeting.

Want to Join the Pacific Group?
I was thinking since we don't have many memebres here maybe we should meet with the Pacific group? I know it is a bit of a drive but it is probably not to often.
Let me know what you guys think.

maybe we could do that
or we could join the prairies
calgary users would love to have us too
or they could come to vancouver over the rockies
its a better drive thru the Rockies
not as an enjoyable roadtrip down south due to lack of scenic
hehe
but gas per trip IS cheaper going down south
but i dont see whats stopping from any of us joining the pacific groups in any of the meets
im sure they would welcome all CL members
as for combining 2 groups
i wouldnt know anything about that as im not the one to ask
maybe ask a canadian mod like picus

By the way, anybody take their vehicle to a non-dealer for service? If so, where in the GVR?
And where in the heck does one go to get a decent four wheel alignment (RX300) where they don't over-tighten your lug nuts and 'cause you a grand worth of rotor pain? (Hint, hint...don't go to OK Tire on Kingsway.)

when my parents bought their preowned rx300 from lexus northshore i asked them to realign the car after they had replaced the worn out tires... i don't know who did it for them but they did a great job and the rx tracks perfectly. maybe you could call them up and ask?
when i had the suspension work done on my gs400 i went to http://www.advanceautomotive.com in richmond. there is a discount if you mention you saw them online.
as for service i've been using a mechanic who used to work for japaneseautomotive in vancouver. he's opening up a new shop in hammersmith right next to CG automotive... i don't have their address on me at the moment sorry
so far i've had the water pump, timing belt, pulleys, starter rebuild, coilovers suspension work, and rear supra tt diff conversion done with no issues...
