i got my last engine oil & oil filter change and checkup done by my friend who works at a ford dealership
i gave him $20 for it

only because BenjaminT's mechanic went on vacation and i couldnt wait any longer as my GS300 was way overdue for maintenance

i would trust Ben's mechanic though since he was a toyota mechanic
next time i would probably bring my car to him because he charges for the same rate and is probably more professional than my friend

As for my wheels coming off, I had OK swap on my snows at the same time...bad mistake.

Hey guys...I was curious of getting a meet going for the people in Canada AND Washington?? You can see one of the last meets we had here we had an alright turn out, but was thinking of getting you guys and us together? I am thinking Bellingham is pretty 1/2 way from Seattle-Vancouver. You guys game? Anyone want to collaborate with me and set this up? We have been meeting the 2nd to last Sat of each month for a few months and will be until probably Septemberish. We are also doing a BIG drive (two days/9 hours about 400+miles info here ) probably in August but that will be in the state of WA. Just throwin' the idea out there...let me know if any of you would be interested in a meet or the drive!

i would be up for a meet but not sure about the drive, dont know if i have the time for that
i could always go shopping at the premium outlet mall by Tulalip casino since canadian $$ is very close to that of USD now

i'm at work and i keep forgetting his contact info at home try the email route... i understand he's very busy right now setting up the new shop, and on top of that he imports JDM cars for others on the side and i think he has a shipment coming in right now... but the last time i spoke to him he was saying the shop would open before the end of june?

this is a long shot but... does anyone here from BC know of a black gs300 with a 2jzgte engine swap that was done at forcefed performance in langley? i would really like to meet the owner... i tried calling the shop but they don't seem that friendly

 

If you guys wanted to drive that far that would be totally up to you. I think there would be a lot more there to do for us all than in Bellingham, but I didn't want to make you guys drive farther than 1/2 way if this happens. Either way is fine with us, but I think I like your idea.

Well there has been no meet planned as of right now so I don't know how many ppl would end up going. Our next meet is June 17th in Federal Way and the head count goes up until the day of, then on the day of we sometimes have more show.

Typically what we HAVE been doing is meeting up, bringing some food to BBQ, and if the weather is good playing some sport (well..when the weather is nice we plan on playing some sports!)

The more discussion on the meets the better they turn out to be. We can't please EVERYONE but we can sure break a sweat trying! We would need to collaborate w/someone from your area and PLAN a meet.

 

I'd like to go to a meet one of these days. I'm also down with going to Bellingham too. I can drop the wife off at the mall and cruise to the meet.

Is there an email mailing list I can get on to inform me of times and changes ?
