Thanks Kev. I look forward to being done with all this and just enjoying the car.

Replaced the rear airbag crash sensor and re-installed the airbag module.

Also installed the Bluetooth streaming audio thing. Just gotta get the rear sub installed and i'll have nice jams finally.

I started the car and was half expecting the bags to deploy in my face, but the airbag light actually went away for the first time since I had the car. I guess those are fixed. I also fixed rattles in the dash speaker, doors, and sunroof rail.

And last but definitely not least, all that remains is to install the ABS. I asked a few local independent shops, but installation / programming and brake bleed requires TechStream, which they didn't have. I went to Lexus of North Miami to see about having them install it, but their customer service is horrible. Will try JM Lexus instead.

Great idea using the box wrench to hold the lock nut
Definitely beats cutting and welding the door support frame

I'll need to replace the ABS pump at some point, it's buzzing away more often than it should.

Seems like 44510-30300 is the new part number, did you buy it brand new? The old one that's in my car is 44510-30270

The BMS and a new brake fluid cap to help keep moisture out

Blown ML sub was shorting out the entire system

Got this 10" subwoofer. Peeled the rubber ring and put in on the bottom of the new sub. The wire connectors just screwed on.

sounds great

Thank you Kira!
Quick update

Techstream customization. Turned off the steering wheel tilt when you start the car. Now it just stays down and extended. Turned off the DRLs. Turned off open locks when shifting to park. And turned off a bunch of chimes and buzzers and other noises. Car feels more luxurious now.

Hey Peter The lenses were for sale in the FB group, but I got the last set. However Id recommend buying the entire headlight than changing the lenses honestly.

Thanks Peter. Th e Morimotos are nice, and I liked the Infiniti Q45 projectors that some put in their GS300 headlights.

Update: Soundproofing and sway bar links..

Didnt get to it last time.

Drivers

Passangers

Rear

Threw the sway bar end links on

Sound deadening is pretty nice. Keeps the music inside and the road noise outside. The doors also feel more solid and less hollow and close nicer. Car feels overall more luxurious.

Installed new sway bar bushings. Quite a difference between the old and the new.

Noticed what appears to some dried coolant which had leaked down. Seems to be coming from the water pump. I ordered parts for a replacement. (Pump, therm, belt, pulley).

Ordered an all wood shifter from an RX, as I did with my GS300, but this one isnt fitting well. Going to figure out what to do with it.

Love the Japanese woodtrim.

Love the blackwood with my black carpets.

Another drain and fill.

Looked for a long time for a set of bigger Lexus oem wheels but decided to just leave the 18”s and get new tires. Ordered some sumitomo tires 🇯🇵 Had them Balanced, mounted, and alignment.

Old bridgestone rundlats from 2015.

Five months later. Finished with the 460. It runs drives sounds and looks amazing now

What a great journey and beautiful car

I wish the OEM fanblades are wider. The GS is under-tired from the factory... I found that by going to 275/35 makes the drive much more enjoyable, the car feels much more planted and alive.

Ah good to know! Will probably do that when I have the new projectors tossed in.

Thanks!
