So I went and picked up this IS300 yesterday morning. Owner couldn't get it running. New battery, new fuel pump, host of other parts. Got it for $700.

Then I came home and put another OEM pump and hanger in it...... RUNNING! Time to clean it up and find a buyer!!!

Went ahead and started prepping to convert the chassis to manual tonight. Got the manual MK4 pedal put together and cleared the auto e-brake from the dash. I haven't decided on a hand brake but as I get things set into their respected places it'll come to me

Thinking I might sell the gold GS and keep this IS for daily driving. Cleaned up so nice! New MAF and second hand fuel pump and it's running like a top

Total with car purchase, $525 since I returned the other fuel pump for$175 the previous owner bought in error can't believe it!!!

Francine, yea I got bored over the last few days and just needed to occupy my time so I mock fitted the Trust 161 intercooler. I'm gonna go kidnap Ted from F&F like Johnny Tran and demand he tell me where GTE swaps are for 4k lol!!!!

This is something I've been wanting to get done for a while and I found a great upholstery shop to get it done. I love how it turned out! Probably will focus on finishing the interior which isn't much since swaps are RIDICULOUS right now

I couldn't imagine doing this with a full interior! Plus I'm 6'4 so I can't make myself too small to get in the little area to mount the clutch bracket but this was a great stopping point today. I may finish it up tomorrow.

Nice to see the progress. What transmission have you decided on?

Thanks sir! Definitely going R154.

Finished the inside a while ago. It's a pain to get it to work right but enough trimming, wire moving, etc and she's a manual body now. I have the OEM MK4 brake pedal but it sweeps WAY to the right so I'll have to evaluate what I want to do there but this gets it's drivable when the time comes.

That's a tight area on both sides of the firewall. Nice that you're able to retain the ABS pump / brake system and fit that clutch master cylinder in there. Yeah the brake pedal and that clutch are coming a little close. You're pretty handy though, I'm sure you'll find some solution for that spacing.

It's crazy the little amount of space that's there to do the job but determination kicked in lol! I really hoped to use the Supra brake pedal but it's cool. I drilled from the engine bay after making a stencil of the clutch slave and marked it on the firewall. Made my life way easier
