A week ago I picked up this little IS300 for a daily for $650. Just something to enjoy these cheap gas prices and drive for work. Owner said it was losing power in the charging system, had a bad exhaust leak, and sunroof didn't work. Well.......it's all good now!
Nice come up. My coworker has an IS300. Complains about the fuel economy all the time. Had a GS before that. Said it's no better lol. Still cool cars. I wouldn't mind one one day. But I'm way more into the GS.
Wow, must be nice. I've always had a fondness for the gen 1 IS300.
2JZ-GE is **** for fuel economy, but at least it's not hauling around a GS. I'm really envious of your $650 bargain daily, there aren't any deals like that around here.

I tell you what, it's better mpg than my Tundra was. The price was too cheap for me to pass up plus I have a ton of NA spare parts should something fail.

The sad part bro, this guy had it listed on craigslist for 1500 obo. How we got to the sale price, I'm still shocked
Wife named the IS Mary Jane because when I was cleaning it, I found like 8 pot roaches in the ashtray. So today I went ahead and did the preventative maintenance on it. The more I freshen it up the more I want to keep it instead of selling it. Wish I was installing my parts on ol Francine, but COVID HAS JAPAN POSTAL ON FREEZE!!! so I can't get my stuff yet......
Neat delivery, high quality stuff. What's the thickens of that radiator? Best I could find here is only 1" thick, but it's still about double the stock thickness. So I'm running that for now or indefinitely as long as my cooling needs are met. Keeping an eye out for better options in the future though.

Sard is 2in thick. When I was sourcing the cooling pieces, it's was important to me to find this unit because I didn't want to go back and fourth and I wanted a exact chassis drop in
I'm looking at getting Billion fans and VFC to finish it up
Could use a fresh set of OEM HID lights so won this auction this morning on some Bellof equipped lights and the OEM yellow fogs. And the post man dropped off my TRD Lower Chassis Brace a few moments ago
EXACT lights I was looking for on my build surfaces and I snagged em one late night on the auctions
Eagle Eye brand Led with smoked indicators. Loving how the rear end is gonna shape up!
***don't mind how the exhaust is sitting, just sitting under the car lol***

Nice. Where are those auctions and do you need to translate to Japanese? How is shipping and is it impacted by the’Rona?

It's on yahoo auctions Japan. If you can learn how the timing works on the auctions then you can generally win depending on the product. Its competitive on hard sought-after parts
But some of these pieces I waited 2 months due to the prior shutdown
These belloff lights and my fenders should be landing in the next few days
