Default Scottish Aristo. Large single, six speed, Wide arch

Hey guys. Had the car since 2009. Long term love affair with the car thats seen me get familiar with every single nut and bolt on the car.

Started in 2009 with a almost stock low mileage car that'd only been in the UK for 2 years. Car was immaculate !! came with 5zigen lowering springs. Fujitsubo exhaust, HKS mushroom intake and 19" BBS LM's

Dyno figures indicated 330bhp at that point

2009 - 2010 I started making some small upgrades to the car.

Changed the suspension springs to HSD coilovers, Removed the cat, turned the boost up to 1.2bar and the car made 401bhp on the dyno

Took the car to an old airfield used for 1/4 mile racing from time to time. Not any startling times but managed to shock a few unsuspecting racers with how quick the aristo is.

2011 things started getting a bit more serious.

Fitted Ksport 365mm front discs and 6 pot calipers. TOMS rear subframe braces were fitted and I for some unknown reason decided I was gonna buy a large Holset HX35 turbo and manifold.

Had the whole lot fitted up by late 2011 and got the car up and running.

Mapper was all booked up to set the car up using an AEM FIC. Unfortunately shortly before mapping another aristo using the FIC started to develop problems and the mapper decided he wouldn't use them anymore. Luckily for me the mapper is also the creator and owner of Syvecs. He suggested using the syvecs. That created a problem though. Back then syvecs wasn't capable of being used with the aristo's tiptronic transmission.

So if syvecs couldnt be used with the tiptronic autobox there was only one solution....... a getrag 6 speed transmission swap

Due to work commitments and at the time my limited mechanical knowledge I contacted Paul at Sbody automotive about taking care of the box swap. He built his own nissan G35 falken drift car with a 2jz, 6 speed box, clamshell front and rear and 700+bhp. He was the ideal man for the job.

The HX35 turbo was going to be used and limited to 450bhp to save blowing the standard autobox to pieces.

After getting the 6 speed installed there was no need to limit the power figures. So the decision was made to remove the holset unit and change out for a garage whifbitz kit. Went for a twin 40mm wastegate setup , 3" downpipe and a Borgwarner S366 turbo.

While the car was away having the box done I decided to have them fit the turbo kit, an HKS timing belt, a driftworks oil cooler and filter relocation kit. Sbody automotive also got together with syvecs and installed the ECU and took care of the mapping. Vibratechnics developed some engine mounts for the car aswell

Car came back with 567bhp and 560ft/lbs of torque and was a hell of a handfull.

Next on the list was a Kazz LSD. Hated the Kazz unit and ended up changing to a Tomei unit which was much smoother and refined.

while driving the car home after the mapping was complete i managed to obliterate a large fox with the front bumper. Unfortunately the bumper came off a little worse for wear with the splitter breaking into 3 parts.

Managed to fibreglass it back together and had the whole front bumper painted.

Sent the BBS LMs away for refinishing at that point too.

Then managed to get a small feature in speedhunters. shame they used my "have a look at this pics" from my camera phone for the article instead of asking for better pics with my DSLR
