S9JZS147 Aristo Build
Hello,
New to Club Lexus but I figured it is better late than never to join. I am currently building my daily Aristo and will keep the pics coming as best as I can on the build. It is fairly basic right now but has some interesting mods in the future lined up (6spd manual conversion, bigger turbo and supporting mods, Serialnine upper and lower arms, shortened knuckles, bigger brake set up, Bride seats, etc)
I am looking forward to the build and will do my best to photo document the build and answer any questions you may have.
Cheers,
-J
Currently the car stats are this:
1995 Toyota Aristo
Stock 2JZ-GTE with a few mods
Front mount intercooler
3" custom turbo back exhaust
Single turbo conversion - Holset HX35@12lbs (7blade 12cm2 divided t3)
eBay mani w/T4-T3 adaptor
External wastegate venting to atmosphere
AEM A/F/boost controller and defense cut
Factory torsion LSD
SERIALNINE prototype delrin diff bushings
Sitting on STANCE Super Sport coilovers
Factory 17" Mrk4 Supra wheels with Achilles rubber(waiting on a custom set of Work wheels to come in, but more on that later)
HID conversion on low beams and fogs
Upgraded the stereo system with new speakers, amps and sub all in factory locations
Momo steering wheel and hub adapter
a link to a little vid made of the car back when it was first put together

Thank you, I am in Vancouver BC Canada, from what I understand JDM cars are hard to get into the states the scary part is that the list keeps growing lol. First up is wheels and supporting mods to make them fit(arms, knuckles and fender work) once that is done will have to see what I need to save for next on the list lol

Prototype front upper control arms
Prototype rear upper control arms
Custom short knuckles with extra camber added and roll center adjusters
Decided to install the rear solid subframe bushings too since we were under the car lol
A quick pic of the delrin diff mounts
Soooo now it is time to install and try out a bunch of prototype parts to get these wheels to fit and the stance I want...

Well here are some pics of the initial fitting of the wheels and suspension...
things are starting to come together...had to roll the fenders a bit but managed to keep the stock outer body lines...
everything is starting to come together...
tight fit...
just rolled out of the shop after a long night of installing and fitting...
soooo excited to see that it is fully drivable and everything clears...
