Default Jap spec ARISTO would kill an e46 M3!!!

As a Supra TT (now single turbo) and GS400 owner ...I know the power of the 2JZ-GTE motor....which is available in the Japanese spec ARISTO. With light mods or by pulling a hose on that car you could easily kill the new M3.

So there is your luxury and speed in one....too bad it wasn't available in the US

That's a stock motor for the Aristo. don't ask me why there's ducttape on the intake, it's the only v300 engine bay I can find at the moment.

i understand that the V300 aristo is a very fast car. But if we're talking stock for stock, i still don't think that the V300 can beat the E46 M3.

with light mods, of course the V300 would take the M3, but talking stock for stock, i think that M3 would still come out on top.

Plus, performance wise, the V300 would just be killed by the M3. The handling on aristo cannot compete against the M3. Unless it had struts and sways.

both are awesome cars nonetheless...

You would need more than just light mods to "kill" a M3. The Aristo has a slushbox. The M3 has a 5 speed and a better geared rear end. You would need the whole exhaust to be freeflowing with a down pipe no cats no resonators, new intake, and boost controller just to take it in a straight line. Stock for Stock the m3 would eat the Aristo.

take the seats out of the aristo, take out the sound system, take out the a/c system, remove the spare tier, remove the side door covers ( who needs them anyway ) and you got your self a Light heavy weight competitor!

I don't know what the HP is on the M3, but I put 282 to the ground with the stock engine minus cats. that is ~315+ crank HP. So you can just compare the numbers.
