Fahd,
ZaxF told me originally 3 weeks. I knew from the get-go that wasn't gonna happen.
It's going on 4 weeks now.
The hood is made in 2 pieces. They had the one side done ( not sure top or bottom) but it had trash in it so they were going to mold a second one, but then the fiberglass mold developed a hair line crack.
Now they have to remake the mold and start over.
Zach actually offered me a refund if I didn't want to wait anymore but I told him I was ok to wait.
Not sure how long at this point...

Btw how's the cup kit holding up?
You get the suspension set up right?
No issues w the cups & related equipment ?

Got the brakes on the car today. Holy moly that was a long project.
I rebuilt all internal with new pressure seals on the pistons and new dust boots.
Crazy thing, Lexus actually do not sell replacement pressure seals for the brembo pistons. They said I had to buy a new caliper. What the heck?
Luckily I found Dan at Zeckhausen online and he stocks brembo & stop tech parts. Very knowledgeable guy!

Car is now at Koru works, a local tuner shop in Marietta Ga, to get the RR Penske coilovers installed. Can't wait!!

My meisterschaft exhaust should have been here by now. Think Sema messed me up. Everyone there is gone and my exhaust is just sitting there since it cleared customs last week. Dang...

Thank you much !
I don't have any blood, but definitely sweat & tears were invested in those brakes.
Tears when I realized I nicked that pressure seal taking it out...
Luckily it all worked out.

RR coilovers went on yesterday. Real straight forward install. Car is tight! I will say the ride is a bit more rough and car bounces slightly if the road has rippled surface.
But I knew that going in.
Will see if the Penskes prove their worth next weekend at Roebling raceway. Can't wait!!

Thd lower control arm bushings went in too. I will say I cannot tell a lot of difference so far but I haven't done any spirited driving-Just been local surface roads.

i took the car to a place in atlanta called Grand Turismo to get the alignment. They're the atl go to race car alignment shop.
The guy there said there was a camber adjustment plate avail for RCF. I didn't think there was anything avail for us as far as camber goes. Will follow up next week & see if I can get them to order those.

few pics of the wheel gap.
The back is almost no gap.
The front is higher than I would like to see. Two fingers. That's the default height from RR.
I'm gonna run it like that at the track next week & see if it doesn't scrub when I go over the track curbs. If no then I'll lower a bit more.

Thumbs up

Some info/feed back for the Endless brake pads I got from RR.

These don't squeak at low speed like the oem pads.
Stopping power seems less when cold compare to oem. Once heated up they seem fine for standard day to day driving. Will see soon how well they work with high speed stops.

They are very low dust compare to oem brembo ones.
If you use the Armor All brake dust repellent, there's literally no dust!

Well, went to Roebling road raceway last weekend for HPDE. Some feed back on the brakes & coilovers from RR.

The penskes were installed with the "default" height & settings from RR.
I drove the car 240 miles to the track so there was a lot of road testing. I will say the ride quality definitely took a toll vs oem.
The coils are a lot firmer than the oem ones so over bumpy roads they're a bit rough imo. Plus there's noise from the metal hats since no more rubber between the parts.
Some bounciness occurred when I was on the high way & I hit those expansion joints at high speed at a rhythmic pace.
But all of that was expected. Can't get comfort & high performance without some form of compromise, right?
On the track those penskes were top notch. I had zero issues with them. Roll was very minimal.
Next time I will try one setting firmer & see how it goes.
I installed the lower control arm bushing too and I can definitely tell the turn in feel is way better.

The endless pads & griodisc rotors performed awesome. No fade no sqeak no nothing. Just ridiculous stopping power.
Turn one on the track needed me to go from 140 to 80 in roughly 50 yards and they did it repeatedly without issues.
I think I even heat tempered my rotors. At one point, the iron part of the rotors showed gold, blue & the silver color. Wish I had taken a pic.
The wilwood fluid seem to perform well. Gonna try Motul on the next bleed to see if I can tell the difference.
Big thumbs up for the brake upgrade from RR.
I was a tad nervous about my caliper rebuild since I replaced all the pressure seals myself. I'm alive so I guess I did ok.

For what it's worth, I got on the track scale to see the corner weight of the car as well as the overall weight of the car with me in it.
Remember the coilovers were installed without changing the default height settings.
Not sure if all cars vary this much. Can anyone who has had their RCF corner balanced pls chime in?

Here's a pic of the oil I got out of the AOS during one track day of 4 sessions 20 min long.

The pic is of a take-out container that I used to dump the spent oil from the AOS. I was surprised at how dark the oil got vs when I check the dip, it's still light gold.
I dumped it 3 times total during that day.
sure glad that mess didn't recirculate back in...
