Mingofish Atlanta RCF build
The standard finish of the wheels would have looked cleaner (love the style of wheel chosen). IMHO The red accented wheels and badges are a bit much and cheapens the look of the RCF, espeically with the paint color that it is.
One thing is for sure, your build is definitely unique. If you like it, that's the only thing that matters.

Yeah when I first started, the car was suppose to be "clean" which is the route I've gone in all my previous cars.
But then I saw that Renntech benzo that made me head a totally different direction.
I do understand your thoughts of those "rice" mods that cheapens the Lexus brand. I had the same thoughts myself.
But at the same time, one hardly sees a Lexus done this way, at least not in Atlanta. I'm sure there's plenty in Cali.
My take is if I go with high end parts and execute cleanly, it won't be rice. Hope I can pull it off.
I appreciate your input.

Changed up the f badges.
Can't have blue color on my red & white car...
bought some cheap Chinese badges off eBay.
They came in actually nicer imo. The oem badges are plastic. The Chinese ones are actually metal.
They did come in with a blue pin stripe but I painted over it with red paint.
Bought 2 sets but ended up going with the white one.
Size is slightly smaller tho.

Here's another cheap eBay mod. Haha.
Changed out oem door light w one that shines the Lexus logo on the ground.
At night they're actually really cool. Makes me smile every time I open the door.
That itself is worth the $28!

Finally! You made a build thread. I didn't know you already have a lot of mods. Lol! Maybe once you lower your car with your pending Penske, it will go together. You're Asian so, you can have extra rice. I thought mine was rice-y already with the rowen kit but you win. Peace! I can't wait for the final build if there will ever be since car mods can be never ending. Lol
Hows the phantom cup kit working out?
Any complaints other than its bouncy when you ride with them raised up?
Still deciding whether to buy a set to try.
Lil nervous since they'll be going on my RR Penske vs their Jics.
Any noise/clunking typical of coilovers? Wonder if that's worst since you got more moving pieces.
Hows front lip repair going? Fixed yet?
Fahd, sup man?

Nice! weigh the RR rotors now. Let us know. Then, once you take off the OEM, weigh them too. Thanks!
Well the brake parts are all here but the powder coating is slow going.
I decided to strip all the black finish off the calipers.
Man was that a chore. Whatever was on there-suspect ceramic based paint-was super tough!
I had to use a combination of powder coat striper, brass wire wheel, and blasting with silicone carbide to get it all off.
Originally I wanted to buff the alloy calipers to a relatively high polish then clear coat.
But then I realized I could not get all the nooks & tight spots buffed so it didn't turn out right.
Fall back is a "chome" powder coat which really was just a nice silver.
Here's a pic of it in the oven and after.
The pic sorta looks green but that's just the lighting.
i will say getting all the pistons & seals out was no fun. Tore two of the dust seals in the process. Had to go to Lexus to order new ones.
Now im waiting on some clear coat powder to show up before I put brembo sticker on and bake them again.
will update soon.
