Ecko's 2011' Starfire Pearl Build
been doing cars off and on for about 15 years... few old projects...

Wanted a IS for some time... Just needed time to get the bills/debt in order... when I finally was able too, I was able to spring for the F, which a few years ago was a mythical object to me.
I've had the car since 09/24/2015... I'll always remember this day for more reason that one. haha
First day...

I'm kind of playing catchup as far as this "build" as i've had the car just shy of 6 months now...
The day I said goodbye to my Grom. I have a thing for white/black on my last few vehicles...

work was slow one day, so i actually installed the toms front lip in the street lol, also got my vanity plates registered.

I tend to sometimes go halfways into doing something... just to make sure it is what I want, before going all out... Plasti dipped roof... ( I do like the loook, so it will be replaced with vinyl, or paint.) replica wald spoiler as well... with a hybrid emblem

Rear followed the front...

I clayed the rear to prep the bumper for the diffuser... the electrical tape was to outline how much i needed to clay extra to ensure a good bond.

smoked LED rear reflectors as well as used smoked film for the turn signals and reverse lights in the tails.

AIT Racing side skirts and well visors

grabbed 1 box of snap connect wood at home depot... followed the rear specs to make the trunk liner.

This was actually in before the wood, just didnt snap pics... like I said I like to try stuff out before going all out... Since I manage our family tow ard I have access to a selection of car audio thanks to cars that lien over. I'll end up going with the Wicked CAS, or JJ's enclosure box... so its set up similar for now... the amp was mounted to spare carpet i had as to not scratch the wood... as it will be relocated soon due to Airrex AMS coming in...

That's it for now... stay tuned...

Nice!
Let me know when you want to finish the Tom's kit with the side skirts.
Where are you located in California?

friend was selling his wheels that he damn near just got, he didn't like them.
I couldn't pass up on the deal... The 18's are too small.. but it's something while I am saving for some AG's
also did some neochrome film on the fogs for the hell of it... its subtle...

I agree.

Think the colour works really well, but 19's or 20's would look even better.
Still, not a bad temporary measure whilst you save up for the next set!
Liking the neo chrome film on the fogs as well.
It's small things like that which make such a difference.

Finally got rid of her. I never updated this thread with pics of the new wheels or anything... truth be told.. I wish those blue wheels were 19" and not 18" I don't think i enjoyed the car more then when I had the blue's on it.
Car looked good but unfortunately it got gone quick. Fir some reason I always seem to miss all the good deals.
