I installed the new HIDs today and I am very please. I went with the Kensun 55 watt ballast, 5000k bulbs and relay harness!!!






Super happy with the kit so far!! The color is really close to the LED parking lights which is exactly what I wanted!!

I like the gunmetal better, but that is my opinion. Do what ever you think will look best. It is your car and in the end its you that has to live with the decision. Man that sounds harsh. Not intended that way.

 

Black with polished lip! The polished lip will catch the eye more.

Im actually stealing the wheels from the drift car this weekend for the GS after I get the coils, mine are gold face and polished lips haha

To go back a page or two, I saw you did your radio unit, you were talking about the TWH-14 harness is it as clean as the supra guys say? I don't really want to cut into the factory harness so I was hoping that would prevent that. Also on your 10' sub I see you used the factory wiring for it? Any details on that process?

What coilovers did you get?

The TWH-14 was a complete waste!!! It was only $6 so it was worth a try. The harness plugs into a connector behind the radio but it was the wrong connector! So now I am waiting on my amp to show up so I can hardwire everything in....damn it!! I wish I had never started this radio upgrade crap!! I also ordered the 6.5 inch speaker adapters that Kene posted about. As far as the factory wiring for the sub....that was a waste of time too because I will have to run new wires when I install the amp. If you use a 10 inch sub you will have to use the stock bracket because it is to small for the hole.

 

Thanks man! Looks like I won't be able to get away with not hacking up the harness for the audio system :/ oh well Ill just take my time and go about it neatly. haha

As for the coils I got the Megan Streets(not to be confused with the EZ streets) off my buddies SC300, got them for a ridiculous price and were low milage and in awesome condition so I couldn't pass up on them!

If I use the app on my phone the pics don't work a lot of the time but if I use these browser then they work fine.

 

The pics are working now lol. But the wheels you have now look better then the other ones IMO.

I finally install my new wheels/tires and brakes. I think I might need to bleed the brakes again because the brake pedal is pretty spongy compared to stock. More/better pics tomorrow. If it doesn't snow I sm going to have it waxed to go along with the new wheels.
