That sensor is necessary maintenance part for sure! I changed mine and noticed about 2mpg and like you said, improved cold starts and idling.

Today marks my GS300's 21st Production Day (Birthday)!! She rolled of the assembly line 12/23/1993 as a 1994 model year!!
Here is a picture of here this morning! Still just as beautiful as the day she off of the assembly line!
Unfortunately I didn't own her from day one (because I was only 9 years old) but she is mine now and I love her very much!! It's very fitting that she is 21 because like some 21 year olds this year will be a year of change and growth for her!!!

Not a big update but I have been working on my 2015 to due list.
So far....
-Installed LED turn signals and modified the stock flasher relay
-Installed new headunit and new subwoofer. Waiting for the new 4 channel amp to come in so I can finish the wiring.
-The EGR block off plated just came in today from a-r-z.com. I hope to installed those by next week.
-Bought a set of LS400 calipers/rotors. Waiting on the Hi temp Lexus decals to show up so I can send the calipers off for powder coating.

-Installing IS300 seats-Just need a few more welds and it should be done
-Should have coilovers within the next 7 to 10 days. Decided on the Megan EZ street.
-Bought an E-fan and fan controller. Need to build a fan shroud out of card board and then transfer it to aluminum.

I modified the stock sub bracket and the wrapped in cloth to help reduce any rattles. I plan to cover the back deck in sound insulation to help with sound quality.

Got EGR block off plates from Arizona Performance. They look awesome and don't require a gasket.
LS400 calipers. Going to have them powder coated red with black Lexus decals.
LED turn signals. I love the way the light up white for the parking lights and switch backand forth for the signals!! Got idea Superbrightleds.com!!
And my favorite.....IS300 SEATS!! Not 100% finished but getting closer!!!!
Need more info on the seats. I've been debating on which seats to use. I love my bro's is3 seats, but was worried they may look too narrow and awkward.
