I have been following your thread and the progress you made on your baby. I am in the process of doing the same thing. I absolutely LOVE the stance your GS makes with those tires. Please let me now the rims size and tire size for the front and rears. Also, did you have to do anything with the springs in the back? Or will the rims and tires ALONE give that nice look. Please respond. Thanks again for your time and keep up the mods....
Thanks man I really appreciate the kind words. The wheels are XXR 521 18in x 8.5 front 18in x 10 rear. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ ( THEY ARE AMAZING!!!! ) 245/40-18 Front 275/40-18 Rear. The wheels and tires alone gave the car an aggressive stance but the coilovers really put it over the top for me. I did have the rear fenders roll to help avoid any rub. I hope that helps.

Thanks for your quick reply sir. If I could NOT do the coilovers and rolling the fenders right now, could I go with 235/40/18 in the front and 245/40/18 in the back for a nice stance still? It seems like you had those on before you switched..... Let me know. Thanks again.

Nice work on the GS. I read through the entire thread and am really impressed with what you've done. That Carbon wrap came out looking great. The interior is really coming together as well. What are the plans for carpet? Love the stance too...

I didn't have the front fenders roll to fit the 245s so there is no problems. The only time the 275s would run in the rear was if there was a load in the rear or if I hit a big bump so if you are careful you will be fine but if you don't want to have to worry about then I imagine the smaller tire will clear. I dont think the look with be as aggressive and if you go with a 10 wide wheel in the rear then the 245 with probably have a pretty big stretch. You are I did have the wheels and tires for about a year before I put the coilovers on.

Thanks man I really appreciate the kind words!!! The carbon fiber wrap has stood the test of time pretty well. Some of the pieces I want to re-wrap though because I think I can do a better job with the experience I got doing it the first time. You can tell the difference between the pieces I did first and the pieces I did last because I got better the more I did it. The carpet is one of the next things on my list this spring. My upholstery guy said he will be about to make all new carpet thats better than the original. I will be black like everything else.
