Tuha, are you really planning to continue with this car? Sorry for saying, but it looks even terrible for a junkyard car. Why dont you import a Celsior from japan? You can buy them for 1500$ at auctions. Always very low km's on them and most in veryyyy nice shape.

I can't imagine same as you i think. But just get a complete Celsior then, same color/year. Import it without papers (as parts) and just switch the vin NR's with your own Celsior 
i think it whould be the cheapest way to drive your dream celsior.

Finally got it off and took the instrument cluster apart looking for evil. Found that the eloctro-conductive [ec] tape on the back of the dash needles has run it's course. You might just be able to make it out in the next photos. Once again, I apologize for the bb photos. Working on getting a camera. Have ordered ec paint. it should do the trick.
