Tuha, are you really planning to continue with this car? Sorry for saying, but it looks even terrible for a junkyard car. Why dont you import a Celsior from japan? You can buy them for 1500$ at auctions. Always very low km's on them and most in veryyyy nice shape.
As far as i can see at the pics this car is totally raped ! (dont know if i say this right, lol)
Our countries import laws don't allow cars older than 5 years. I would have to bring it in in parts. Imagine the logistics of that.
I can't imagine same as you i think. But just get a complete Celsior then, same color/year. Import it without papers (as parts) and just switch the vin NR's with your own Celsior i think it whould be the cheapest way to drive your dream celsior.
Die Antwoord. Lekker.
Took out the Fuel Sender Gauge. Looks rough. Could it be the reason for the fuel gauge showing wrongly? Will do a quick search on the forums.
Get that wheel off dammit. Will send it over to the upholsterer early next year. I don't know how people handle the waiting. I want this car done yesterday so I can drive it today.
Finally got it off and took the instrument cluster apart looking for evil. Found that the eloctro-conductive [ec] tape on the back of the dash needles has run it's course. You might just be able to make it out in the next photos. Once again, I apologize for the bb photos. Working on getting a camera. Have ordered ec paint. it should do the trick.
I've been a bit busy enjoying a well deserved break but now it's back to the project car.
I took the seats and door panels out then sent them to an upholsterer for new leather.
