Cool Project GS From Then to Now (V.2)

So, im back. Most of you guys know me and most of you guys dont. Im Reem. Brooklyn born. Probably one of the tallest Emt's you will ever meet. I had a previous build thread that was never finished due to a life threatening accident. F-150 t-boned me after he ran a red light. God was on my side because the pole was a foot away from my head. Left me car-less for a while. After the depression I finally decided to finish what I started.

When I joined CL I didnt know anything about cars. Never heard of a intake, never heard of a tranny cooler...look at me now, thanks to all you guys. I remember opening google and looking up Lexus GS 300 and I came across "Carbongs" build thread. One of the illest GS ive ever seen in my life and I fell in love. That was the car I needed in my life. I then received a letter in the main from the Fire Department and needed to get a car asap. Then i discovered the 1GS. My 1st 1GS was in bad shape lol (for all of you guys who knew what i went through with it) and i definitely denied it. Now i found one in a much better condition. Now...watch me as I create something so Aesthetic...

Build Thread inspirations - Carbongs(2GS), Raine(SC), Zeb(2GS), Dew(1GS) & Rising_Sun(1GS)

This is going to be the ultimate build. I will take my time and everything will be done correctly. Stay tuned.

What I Spend So Far
Power Steering Pump (used) - $50
Car Towed - $100
Stuff in shop - $120

Default The Accident June 27, 2012

Got dressed for work. Uniform fresh out the washer machine. lol. Got in my car heading down Rogers avenue. My light turned green. Let my foot off the brake and as soon as i touched the gas...BAM. F-150 T-boned me. I was trapped in the car for a while. Called my job and my brother. End up wiggling my way out of the car. Some of my fellow EMS buddies were heading to a job down the block from my accident and stopped to help me. I was in good hands. From that day I was upset. I lost my baby.

Was a very bad night for me. I managed to strip the car on scene since i was in uniform. lol.

Default So, i met me a new girl October 27, 2012

Found a 93 GS for 2500. Talked him down to 1700 :] It was clean. Just a few minor scratches. Power steering pump needs to be replaced, window regulator and a few other nicks and nacks. Then i can get on the road. Will post more piks soon.

My boy dew has a set of 19s for me. And that roof thing has to go lol.

Garnish got cracked. Gonna be replaced with the old one i had sitting around in the house.

Interior is clean. Just need the carpet shampoo'd, a new shifter plate and the passenger front window switch. The woodgrain on the switch is messed up.

Default The Tow/Fixed Right Auto November 16, 2012

Left the car at the location for a while. I had to work during Hurricane Sandy. Did a lot of rescue work & evacuation. I come to pick up the car and the gas light is on. Someone broke the gas door and sucked the gas out of the car. So i have a yellow light, messed up fuel pump, 2 messed up window regulators and a antifreeze leak. Great lol. Called up my boy Robbie and got the car towed to a good friend of mines at Fixed Right Auto...Richie. Great guy and hes a Lexus specialist. gonna leave it there for a few days to get it worked on. Here are a few more exterior piks.

Shifter plate and passenger switch need to be replaced.

Mad they broke the gas door though smh.

And a few interior piks.

Carpet is nasty. Needs shampoo and paint lol.

Fix it list:
Power Steering Pump
Driver front and Passenger Rear window regulators
Antifreeze leak
Switch out Garnish
Locate exhaust leak
Hood and Trunk struts
Belts
Cluster lights
Shifter plate & Passenger switch
Battery
Headlights

Default The Clip November 20, 2012

So i was looking around for a 2jzgte and came across this

Only 800. No motor, no tranny, no ecu. Gonna take the front bumper w/ fogs, headlights, grille, Hood struts, shifter plate, steering wheel...and i believe thats it for now. Everything else if up for sale. Part out sounds nice. That will save me a lof of cash. Anyone want anything from it thats not listed above? I should be getting it in a few days.
