reem Why are you buying that front clip? For a few more hundred you can find a front clip with the motor. That way you can swap the motor over and some of the front clip parts and whatever you dont need you can sell.

Default The Pickup November 24, 2012

Today Richie called me and told me that the GS was ready to be picked up. Roof spoiler removed, belts changed, power steering pump replaced, new battery, headlight bulbs changed, exhaust checked, garnish changed and filled it up with some 93 lol. Gonna start parting out the things I don't need and ordering the stuff I need to start this build.

Headlights
Front bumper (minor scratches. Almost flawless. No dents)
Rear bumper (same condition as front)
Foglights (have 1 extra)
Sway bars
Brakes & rotors
Stock wheels
Grille
Gs300 garnish
Steering wheel
Complete motor 180k miles (full tune up)
Transmission (14K miles)

Will do this slowly. So if you guys see anything you want on the list hit me up. I'm still debating on the clip.

Next up is the supra tt iridium spark plugs, spark plug wire, wait for window regulators to come in, hood struts, battery terminals, 4 runner distributer, rotor cap, tranny cooler, wiper blades, led interior, hids and led tailights. Will do this between this week and next week.

Default Transmission 12/09/12

So, I was driving around with the wife and suddenly my gears started dropping by itself.

It was driving ok but kept dropping to 1st & 2nd gear. Car cooled down, dropped her off and then the tranny was back to normal. I get 10 minutes from my house on flatbush going up the hill and it started to roll backwards even thought i was mashing the gas. I felt like i was in a manual with no clutch. So I called Dew & Rising Sun to ask some questions. Rising Sun was in the area and came by. Said the tranny probably was overheating. I then waited about 2 hrs. Started driving and it rolled backwards. i let it roll down the block and then parked it up, Got it towed and Richie from Fixed Right told me the tranny was fineto.

Did some internet searching and found a Gte tranny for $250. Went to pick it up and have it installed. Richie called me and said it was the wrong flywheel Went back today and got another one. So I should be good by tomorrow.

Whats next? LED interior & outside Lights. HID's & Coilovers.
