New Is300 Owner. Build thread?
My name is nick. just traded my s13 for an IS300. I had 6 s-chassis before this. New to the whole toyota/lexus game..
my old S13.
The IS. Needs loving, and im gonna give it to her..
some mods are..
Megan racing coilovers
xxr 522's(hated them)
VIS Carbon fiber hood(looking to trade for stock black hood plus 300 obo)
precision t67
aem standalone
first thing I did was untint the fog lights..then sold the wheels and got stock wheels plus cash. Next up is have to get rid of the hood..looking to trade for a stock black hood plus like 300 obo..
Currently how it sits, with a waterpump that pisses more then I do..
just placed the order for:
Gates timing belt kit with all tensioners etc
Gates serpentine belt
Waterpump
rad hoses(stock ones for now)
thermostat
rad cap
so stay tuned for a decent build thread! with drifting..i know most of you guys frown upon that..but oh well!

Well Ended up installing my new serpentine belt, rad cap, and rad hoses. because i couldnt break the crank pulley bolt loose..
I know everyone says that tool, but will making this work for sure? My air compressor isnt strong enough and i dont feel like removing my intercooler and bumper again so i can use air..

update!
Car is coming along, sold those ugly xxrs and picked these mustang wheels up for now.
I have 4 17mm spacers for the is for sale..50 bucks takes all four, i no longer need them, one is missing a stud. no big deal you can get it anywhere..
So I replaced the oil feedline cause the one that was on there was all kinked and pissing oil..jeez i hate previous owners so much! I have been drifting it quite alot and so far what i need is:
-Welded diff, anyone wanna trade my LSD for a open plus cash? like 60 bucks so ican get it welded..)
-less rubbing up front
other then that jeez this thing kicks ***..
