Question Front head lights building up condensation!!

Hi guys, So my passanger head light's seal appears to be done. Every time I wash my car or the sprinklers hit the head lights it builds water up inside =/ was wondering if anyone has done a re-seal on there headlights before? What material to use, adhesive, ect. I have never pulled the head lights out so Im sure there is a write up in here somewhere, and I recall once stumbleing across a DIY "cleaning your head light lense" if I am going to do the re-seal on em I think I'll try to clean the actual lenses them selves as well. Thanks guys!

use the material discussed in the diy. 100% silicone or oem sealant (which your local lexus or nissan dealer sells for an affordable price).

Liberal application of silicone will ensure this will never happen again before the car dies.

I have recently done this and so far have not had any problems with xonsensation from the morning dew. I have yet to wash the car or nor has it rained yet.

I actually sealed it three times just to make sure.

^ what sealant did you use? also, if you want to get rid of the condensation without taking your lights apart, i did a temporary fix in the summer, i got a drillbit, that was about the width of half of a tooth pick, and drilled a hole in the bottom of light, as retarded as it sounds, it worked really good. but now i want to re seal the lense itself. anyone have any idea what to you on the lens?

id go with clear 5 or 30 minute epoxy. you can sand it off or just make it small and unnoticeable as possible.

I just used silicone sealant. I sealed it once initially. A second time on the edges. And the last time just filling in gaps.

I actually went with the material mentioned in the DIY clear thread. It was Ultra black silicone. It worked out really well. The problem that I did run across is that the original stuff that's in there is not fun to remove if you even go that far. When baking the headlight, it does soften up for the purpose of removing the lens and whatnot. However, when the stuff is hard...it's hard. I had to go through with a razorblade and cust away at the OEM sealant in order for the pieces to fit back together securely. The end result was pretty good though. Just remember which way your headlight foam/rubber trim goes if you remove it. I accidentally set one of my headlights up with the lining on upside down.
