for my oil pressure gauage i did have a nylon tubing, but keep on blowing the line. I switched the line to a copper line that i got at an auto part store, it seem to be holding, but i haven't punch the car since the gto and the gto was an auto. there is a dyno about 20 mins away, but a guy here that had him tuned his afc for him and messed it all up, so i'm going to wait and head home sometime to get it tuned and crap like that. I'm at about 8.7 lbs. of boost right now and for the tranny cooler, i haven't got there yet, i do have a tranny temp. to know how hot it's getting.

Nice setup you got there. Must feel real good to be running boost. It says on your profile that your location is "minn" Is that Minnesota? If so, where about? I live in the Twin-Cities area and if you're close I might want to check out your ride. I'm thinking about boosting my GS too.

i'm from warroad,mn, but i go to school in east grand forks,mn. I do go to the cities to visit my friends and family in burnsville and apple valley about 3 or 4 times a year. Maybe you could catch sometime during the spring or summer, you won't be dissappointed if or when you turbo your ride. No one knows i'm turbo charged around here, thats why i went with a side mount intercooler, even my dad has no idea what i did to the car, till he drives it, haha.

Nice...Where did you get all of the pieces for the kit? How much did it cost you total? So I've been reading the posts and you said that you're running 5.7lbs of boost on stock ecu? No fuel management or upgrades? If so, I'm definetly running boost come spring time. I better start piecing the kit together now.

i bought a 5.7 wastegate spring, but i decided to keep the spring that was already in it, 8.7 or something like that. I don't remember how much i spent, but it was a few gs. i do have the afc neo, tt fuel pump, and an aem fuel pressure reg. for fuel management with stock injectors. I was going to get boost logic injectors or was it boost werk injectors? anyways the reason why i did buy them cause a post in the na-t site said that it didn't work under the intake manifold. I'm hoping that the weather is nice this weekend so i could go back home and dyno tune this thing.

make sure you video tape the dyno and post it on here so we can all see. It'd be nice if you could get a video of it in action as well.

Dave H really knows his stuff... They built the 2JZpowered Ford Probe also. I saw them in Sabin. MN speedway back in Sept. and he almost brokd the 9sec. barrier. If the track was much better, I belive he could have ran in the under 9's.

Workmanship on the custom NA-T parts are very high. You can tell how much care is taken to make perfect parts.

SP is also excllent with the NA-T conversion. Infact, SP and DaveH. help each other out when debugging tuning issues. Both really know the 2JZ well.

i live 45 mins. away from dave h, somtimes i go to the races in sabin. Anyways, i got the chance to go on the dyno sunday to tune my ride a little and my first run i did, i got 302.4 horses and 302.6 of torque at 8.7 psi, but the a/f ratio was way to high sitting at 13.8. I ended up lossing some horses 283.6 and torque 294.0, but my car is running on the safer side sitting at 12.5 a/f, but at 4300 rpm i'm running very rich at 11.4 slowly getting better till 5000 then sitts pretty at 12.5. Whatever we did with the afc the a/f stayed the same in those rpm zones, so we thinking i be good at 10 psi? I have pictures and a video of dyno up by tomorrow or the next day.

you guys should check out the supraforums in the mk4 section na there is lots of NA-T... The NA is very strong as well people where doing 800 WHP on stock NA engines!

Anyways good work man.. If you plan for more boost, look in to getting a tang devided housing instead of on center... On center causes more lag the way i understand it.

It depends if the manifold is set up with a divided or on center. The benefit comes from using the exhaust pulses to increase spool time.

well it's true but even a tang non devided is better then on center.
