That’s smart! Good call... now that I know better today, I'd go for off brands.
No need to get into the cooling coefficients here... been there done that.... there's not that much difference with what its suppose to do. just make sure you size it right for your induction system. The only thing with name brands is the direct fitment but that’s not 100% bolt in. You'll likely need to move some piping around.
In my case, the Greddy FMIC was a direct fit but I couldn't use the bumper support plus the mount points were too week so we ended up welding ears and bolting it to the bumper support. Custom bumper support is what I ended up with and this is costly.

i think i might go with the side mount intercooler as well, it would be a little easier for me since my is a na-t, so the inlet for the turbo and throttle is on the same side. Kaiser, is your intercooler a 3 core or is it bigger then that?

On my SC 300 with the 1JZ I used the stock pump, put down about 270 no problem. On my GS with the 2JZ I did 325 on the stock pump and still had fuel to spare. I've heard of SC guys making 350-375 on the stock 310cc injectors but that's maxing them out at 100% cycle. For 300 wheels you should make it but be at the upper limits of the system.

I have a very similar turbo compared to your TO4E. (Mine is called "TE-44" since it's a buick turbo). With a supra twin turbo headgasket on your 2jz-ge, you can easily run 16psi on 93 octane fuel with a piggy back fuel controller. If you want your car to be REALLY fun to drive, do this:
Assuming you're using 93 octane pump gas, you can Boost ~14psi on your stock 2JZ-GE engine (10:1) compression via AEM EMS with a good tune by a reputable AEM tuner. Make sure you have as free flowing exhaust as possible since timing retard will be occuring to enable you to boost this high on stock 2JZ-GE engine. I promise you, your car will be responsive as heck, pull like no other from a dig, and be a blast to drive . Changing the headgasket is a PITA anyways.

actually, i bought the new apexi afc neo, is this what you're calling a piggy back fuel controller, i assuming you are? I'm thinking that at max, 12 psi is good for me, daily driving, i'm good at 8-10 psi, i would like to go higher, but not at this point of time, i want to see how the car runs first before i turn the boost up. this car will be done sometime late dec. i'm just milking it, so have something to do in class. Also, i bought some more goodies for the ride, like i said above, apexi afc neo, apexi turbo timer, aem fuel pressure regulator, blitz bov with flange, ngk spark plugs, bosch o2 sensors(2), intercooler piping kit, 31x12x3 intercooler core, oem radiator(couldn't find aftermarket), auto meter-cobalt series gauges, af ratio,oil pressure, tran temp, and boost, i think thats it? That's the rest of my savings from the summer that i worked hard for, so i hope it's worth the money.

ok, the engine is in now and all i need to do is the wiring harness,bolt up the intake manifold, mount the intercooler piping, mount blitz dd bov, my afc neo, gauages in the center console,apexi turbo timer, and i will be ready to have a little fun with this thing. Here's some updated pictures with the engine in the car.

Your hott side ICpiping should be conected on to the intake manifold side (route under the fan)... and cold side on passenger side
