I recently purchased a 2007 Lexus LS 460 from a dealership in Phoenix, Arizona. The car has 88,000 miles and is in great condition. Unfortunately, I purchased the car on a cool evening, so I was unaware that the dash (upper and lower) and center console suffered from the dreaded stickiness. I had the option of returning the car, but it is in such good condition otherwise, that I chose to keep it.
As I do with all my vehicles, I started with installing floor liners (WeatherTech, in this instance). I highly recommend these floor liners: they fit excellent and look great. I also had the windows tinted with 20% ceramic film.
When inspecting the car closer at home, I discovered that the water pump was leaking. Therefore, my first order of business was to replace the water pump. While working in that region of the engine, I decided to also replace the belt tensioner, idler pulleys, and serpentine belt. With the exception of the belt tensioner (Dayco) and serpentine belt (Gates), everything is genuine Toyota/Lexus.
Current project: replacing the sticky interior panels. I purchased the car in the evening after dusk. Although I was aware that this issue affected many Toyota/Lexus products from this era, I had no idea this car suffered from it until I parked it in the sun on my second or third day of ownership. I contemplated returning it under AutoNation's 250-mile, 5-day return policy, but since the car is so clean otherwise, I decided to keep it.
I'm currently waiting for the glove compartment and center console to arrive. Although not photographed, I already have the driver knee bolster. I'm happy to report that I didn't break any clips or connectors during the disassembly. It's actually a pretty simple job.
Niceee! I bought an 08 with 96k in 2024. Same colors in and out. Mine is much more base model, however, and not as clean. I have only debadged the rear, threw a 15 inch sub in trunk, and chopped mufflers due to corroded through. Wish mine had those rims at least.

Reason: forgot to add
Looks really clean! Which dealership did you get it from?
AutoNation Nissan Tempe. Found it while browsing the internet. Photographs are often deceiving, but this car checked out in person. It was registered in Maryland until 2018.
Clean indeed. The carpeting was not extracted or otherwise cleaned by the dealer. This is how the driver footwell looked when I purchased it.
Current project: replacing the spark plugs, spark plug tube gaskets, and driver side valve cover gasket (it was seeping along the bottom edge). I would have completed the job in one day, but I ordered the wrong gasket. Given the unintended delay, I decided to also order and replace the PCV ventilation hoses---they've been subjected to 20 years of heat cycles and have seen better days.
This car has zero maintenance history on CARFAX or BADVIN. I can only assume the prior owner performed his own maintenance or took the vehicle to a local shop that doesn't report service information. Regardless, the vehicle has unquestionably been well-maintained, as evidenced by the valvetrain.
Car is finally back together as of last weekend. While I had uninhibited access to them, I replaced the ventilation hoses. I also cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensors. Car runs great.
