Swirl marks on piano black interior trim, how to remove?
I've got piano black dash and door trim on my ES and I can see loads of swirl marks under bright light. What's the best way to get these panels looking pristine again? I've only used damp microfiber towels to clean them.
Also, any way of covering up scratches on the soft plastic dashboard trim?

You can polish the trim just like you would polish paint... however piano black trim is often very soft and delicate, so start with a very fine polish and light pressure to see what you get and work your way up as needed.
I would recommend starting with some M205 on a Foam Applicator.

This thread is a great DIY write up by a forum member who used a dremel and some Meguiar's products to remove the scratches in his trim.

Thanks for the tips, I'll give it a try this weekend. I couldn't find a previous thread on the piano black trim, I thought the process could be different than detailing wood trim because the piano stuff scratches so easily. I think I might have scratched it by using a dry microfiber towel after using a damp one.

Dumb question again... Is it possible to do the steps in the link without machine tools? I tried polishing the gear label by hand, it removed some scratches but the swirl marks are still visible under bright light. Maybe I'll have to get a dremel tool just for the interior plastic bits.
