hey sorry guys, i ended up spending most of the day at the shop yesterday and by the time i got home, plus being sick, i was beat.

long story short, the vibrations are still slightly there. i took it for a drive and the car didnt seem to vibrate at all. then when they aligned it, they went back, reset all the presets for the coils and slammed the car. it does vibrate but not nearly as bad as i would have suspected being that low. im going to give it a few days to let everything settle and see how it is.

fyi there were no lights on the dash so i was pleased about that.

Awesome man! Glad all of your hard work panned out. Keep us posted on when/if you decide it's worth progressing to production. Feel better.

yes and no lol. the height i was at before they lowered the car, the vibrations seemed to be completely gone. after they lowered the car more i could still feel the vibrations slightly but it was a lot less then what it would have been given how low i am now (12 3/4" from the center of the wheel to the center of the wheel well).

i guess at this point what i would like to do is have a couple other people test out these spacers and give some feedback. id prefer atleast 1 other 3GS and 1 2IS person. If anyone is interested please pm me. I will give more info in the pm. If this is against forum rules (im sure Henry or another mod read this thread) please let me know. This is strictly just more R&D.

Go ahead and put me down for the test. Let me know how much $$ i need to shoot you to cover the parts. I will be doing my CV boots shortly, so this will work out for timing also. Any reduction of vibrations will be well worth it. Thanks man!

Henry is reviewing this with Dave to make sure this ok. Im not planning on selling these yet but i would like some feedback from other members. I'll let everyone know the outcome once i hear back from the mods.

3 sets of different spacers, and I'm convinced the 3GS is not spacer friendly. No matter how many times I reinstall, re torque etc... the shaking is always there.

Wish I had listened to other members and gone with aggressive offset wheels.

just read all 32 pages. if this really works out, IXI187IXI, you are my hero.

i'm on road magnets (since april 2010), and i've only felt vibrations and wobbles once or twice. i'm just paranoid of what would happen when i get coils by the end of the year to lower it more.

just need a local 2IS AWD owner to volunteer and help out IXI187IXI with the solution!

Could you try to quantify with the butt seisomograph how much the vibrations are? Such as, the vibrations now are 5% more than stock, and 80% less than without the spacers? Thanks man.

No worries man. Understand the liablility issues and what not. Unfortunately, this would probably be the only way to get the product tested, given it's nature....
