One Owner Lexus SC400 is an Absolute Dream
Lexus SC400 History
Japanese automakers came roaring into the 90s with a wide assortment of vehicles. For the most part, these cars were almost always at the top of their class in terms of performance and quality. But beyond mainstream vehicles like sedans, companies like Toyota launched a plethora of niche vehicles as well. The Japanese economic boom of the early 90s ensured that these companies could financially support such endeavors. The Lexus SC400 formed as a result of their automotive assault on American shores. Based on the Toyota Supra A80 and related to the Toyota Soarer, the SC400 boasted tight handling, sharp styling, and perhaps most importantly, Lexus reliability.
With a run that lasted almost the entire decade, the SC400 represents the best of the 90s, at least in terms of cars. Combined with an extensive aftermarket, it was only a matter of time before they became collector’s cars. Overall, the SC lineup has aged extremely well.
