One side Lower than the Other??!?!
Okay this is bothering me...
i got Tanabe Pro5s on my GS after i installed them about 1 week later i notice that my back is lopsided.. the right side would be about half an inch lower than the left. I counted the threads and it was the same on bother sides. I donno if its the coils problem or mine cuz i installed them myself. I believe tanabe offers a year warranty for these coils im not sure.
if you guys find any info regarding the warranty pls let me know

i asked about this recently when i installed my exact front camber spacers (you need to raise the car an inch to compensate for the camber spacers)
measured exactly from one side to the other, smae threading, the passenger right side will always be lower than the driver side by a bit.
i asked other gs owners and they said even at stock, its like that. why? well everyone suspects that its to compensate for the drivers weight. if you have someone in the driver seat (when most ppl have just 1 person in the car majority of the time) you will notice that the height evens out.
pro5s are coilovers no? my understanding, just measure from ground to fender, and adjust the coilover accordingly.

I have been noticing the same things with my gs. From what i remember from the bimmer forums, most car manufacturers allow from the weight of the driver to even the car level out. I have Tein SS and i measured using the threads multiple times. I think i am going to have to measure from the ground.

How about a spring/strut setup?
I was thinking of an idea of that would resolve this issue for those like me who don't have coilovers. On my rear passenger side, it's not as low as my rear driver side. I'm thinking of going back to the shop that lowered my car and seeing if they can cut my rear passenger Tanabe spring. I figure it can be cut enough to be equal to the finger gap I have in the rear. What are thoughts of this guys. Can it be accomplished?
