Default how low?

hey,
I was wondering how low I can go without camber problems? I have been reading a lot about lowering and camber problems but i didn't find anything about how low til it will have camber problems. I don't want to keep on replacing tires from uneven wear in the future when I do lower it. Maybe this is a dumb question since i didnt find any threads about this.

thanx in advance

Well after you drop it, get it aligned. I never had any problems with a one finger gap between wheel and body ...I will let other chime in

1 finger gap sure does look good. As long as you dont have any scraping issues (with the front bumper and such) with a driveway or speedbumps in neighborhood, then I'd go with 1... if not, go with 2 to 2.5 finger gap.

1-2.5 finger gap - that low and you WON'T have camber problems ? seems unrealistic but very good lol 'cause i'm gonna lower my car soon

well you drop it a little (1.5"?) and i am pretty sure you will start to have camber problems already, it will probably be out of spec (even after alignment)

but that doesn't mean bad wear. my car is low, zero fringers front and back almost, but i don't have uneven wear. my thinking is it has a lot to do with how you drive

I have had camber issues when it was lowered only 1", now I am at less than 1 finger front and rear and the camber issues are minimal.

I have also been trying to research this a lot. I have some new L-tuned springs and need to buy some shocks. I have 85k on my car so if I lower with the L-tuned is everything gonna go to hell because of the mileage and stress on suspension parts?

just to give My opinion ... i have my car extremely dropped to the ground ....

i believe they dont sell aftermarket camber adjustments.... so i maxed out my stock ones

My camber issues are a -2.4 almost around the whole car with caster and toe being almost perfect...

we'll see how fast i eat tires .....i might research this thread when it is time to change tires ...

keeping in mind that they are directional and i can not rotate them... rear are 275's fronts are 245's

i put them on in febuary ... and drive regularly ... 100 miles every other day ...

suspension tein HA maxed on full stiff .... minus 2 turns.. rims are 19s by 10s and 8s

with 4 people in the car only rubs when i am goin 90 on highway on hard dipps

if this does not apply to the thread my fault .. jus advice to help you if you decide to lower your car alot
