Default Spacer questions

Hello, I am about to order spacers
20mm Front
15mm Rear
Would my camber change?
Im looking into getting H&R spacers. I have read that people have had experience with the steering wheel being shaky after putting on spacers, is that true?

Why would the camber change? No adjustment to height nor camber arms

Spacer just space out the wheels to be more "aggressive". All that spacers that i've ran. I had no issues with any vibrations. Just make sure each spacer bolt is torque to spec.

I just had a theory that the further away the wheels are from the car, it'll change the camber in some kind of way because of the way it may sit. Even by .1

the wheels sit a little farther out, but the camber change will be negligible. maybe a fraction of a degree.

Im running 15mm front and 20mm rear on Tein street advance coils. I've noticed a bit of camber in the rear wheels. Maybe its just me? Here are some pics for reference

^^^ yeah, that looks like a lot of negative camber. do you have a camber correction kit on there?

the video does a good job at explaining spacer attributes.

keep in mind, the video still holds true when you get a wheel with more aggressive offsets than stock.
for the 3is f-sport, stock wheels are 18x8+45 and 18x8.5+50
if you got an aftermarket wheel with 18x8+25 and 18x8.5+30 wheels, the effect would be the same if you had put on 20mm spacers on the stock wheels

I just put Eibach 20mm spacers on the rear only of my stock IS350. I kind of like it.

I just put about 10 miles on it. Going to check everything in 20 more miles

Just out of curiosity, why are some with OEM F-Sport wheels choosing to install 15mm spacers on the front----instead of 20mm spacers?... Is it aesthetics, drivability, fitment? Thanks.

I actually just edited my original post, I meant to say 20 front and 15 rear. Just because my front wheels are not as close to my fender as my back wheels are stock.

I didn't have any more room at all to fit 20mm spacers on the front with my Tein coils. 15mm was like the max. and i was still rubbing even with 15mm spacers.

nah everything was stock in that pic. Looks like alot of camber for a car that doesnt even have camber control huh? I just got spc camber kit that im installing tomorrow since my new bbs wheels are rubbing like a **** in the rear cus of the offset. Needs some negative camber.

What Chris said^^^^ you will still rub at full turn. I have a LS430 and ordered 25 rear 15 front and even with all of the space stock height and wheels I should rub plastics slightly at full turn. You certainly have less room to work with.

20 rear 15 front on your model even 25 rear 15 front looks good on stock wheels. Lots of examples if you jump into the vendor spacer threads.
