Default Borla Axle Back Exhaust

I just installed the Borla axle back exhaust on my 2024 IS500 and, after about a week of driving it, decided it might be too loud for me. If I go back to stock, where would be the best place to sell the Borla, EBay?
I would like it a little louder than stock. A friend of mine has a LC500 and it sounds perfect.
Any suggestions for an axle back exhaust quieter than the Borla? Thanks.

I'd recommend at looking for something like a resonated midpipe from apexi. There's a few videos online.

As far as selling...Here, Ebay, Facebook Marketplace. Shipping is going to be your biggest problem.

There’s a couple IS500 Facebook pages, sure you can sell it there.

The LC500 exhaust is all about the tone, not loudness. Side by side the stock IS500 exhaust is just as loud. If that's what you're going for, then follow some of the above recommendations by keeping your stock mufflers but swapping out the mid pipes. This way you add extra tone to your exhaust but without any drone or loudness.

Genuinely not trying to be biased, but if you want to get as close to the sound of the LC500, then you'd need to look at NOVEL. It will add additional loudness (like any other aftermarket exhaust) but without the drone in the cabin. The valve controls keep it loud, or make it quieter than even the stock system. Equal length headers will take it even further to try and sound like an LC500, but that's a whole lot of more money to spend...and even more if you want cats included (hi-flow ones).

GS F Stock Exhaust (same as IS500)

GS F With NOVEL Full Exhaust (including equal length headers)

As for selling your Borla...I was in your shoes 1.5 years ago. I sold mine on FB Marketplace.

I went through a similar process and ended up replacing the Borla with a Revel Medallion (both were paired with an Apexi resonated midpipe) which hit the sound I was after. However I now have the Borla sitting in my garage taking up space. Once it warms up a bit more I'll get to listing it for sale -- if anyone in Alberta, Canada s looking for a gently used Borla axle back with black tips at a good price let me know!

Maybe i got used to it over time, but it doesnt even feel that loud to me any more. With windows up driving, the resonance/drone around 2k is notable, but with spring temperatures windows down it isnt there really and it sounds wonderful, with a nice mid barking tone. Ive been listening to exhaust clips last night on youtube happen to stumble on Caddy ct4 Bw talk, sounds pretty good for a v6, they got that popcorn popping on rev down, yea okay, but then i just searched is500 borla and spent 10 mins relistening to all same vids i heard during my exhaust decisioning, oh yea no ragrets.
