What jack lift? What lift capacity?
I wanted to buy a new and quality jack for my SC. The one at Walmart broke within the first several lifts. I was thinking about getting the Torin 3 ton lift. What do you guys use? Is 3 ton good enough?

Torin pro series is a well respected jack. I use a Craftsman aluminum 3 ton floor jack and it's been great. The problem with the WalMart brands are the cheap seals around the piston and low quality steel.

I also use an AL racing jack, 3 Ton. Well worth the investment. And I love the rubber and the big cup that supports the lift points. And because they are aluminum, I can actually transport easily.

The steel plate is about 6' long and actually fits between the wheels... the engine and diff is accessible.

Hi redliner,
I would think that a 3-ton would work OK.
Here is what I bought:
http://www.bendpak.com/car-lifts/spe...fts/LR-60.aspx
I bought it about 4-5 yrs ago for $1300 delivered. It only lifts ~27" but with my garage that is about all I can go.
The design is not the best but it works & does the job.

Thanks for the info! That'd be great to have the ability to change all four wheels at once, instead of jacking it on each corner
