Default floor jack

Do you guys have any recomendations for floor jacks?
I have purchased Craftsman jacks froms sears...I usually purchase the 2ton jacks but the usually only last 2-3 years before they start to show problems...
You guys have any recommendations for a solid 2-3ton jack that will last and fit under a car that will be lowered.
Thanks

Thank God they did not fail this past summer (lol). I would be in the "UPPA ROOM" right now.

I bought a Michelin 3.5ton/7,000lb. floor jack over the summer, only to find that my car is a little too low to slide it under. I never used it; it's brand new.

Anybody that wants to pick it up from my house in Lincoln Park can have it for $75-. I paid ~$125.00 for it. The only thing missing is the box.

Just PM me or email me @ intdiamond at aol dot com .

Most craftsman floor jacks are crap. I've personally gone through about 5 different models, and all of them were returned multiple times on warranty (about 14 jacks total). How much are you looking to spend?

I've used the AFF 200t "Low Rider", and it is pretty good 2 ton that can fit under most lowered cars, but it is about $250 shipped and completely rebuildable.

Another floor jack I have is the OTC 1532 aluminum floor jack which is a 1.5ton, but it only weighs about 35 pounds. It has been good so far, but since it is really only used for the track it hasn't seen that much usage. The OTC cost about $260-280 shipped, but OTC offers a lifetime warranty on its parts.

A floor jack I'm looking to buy is the Omega 29023 which has an extra long and low body to fit under cars with a jack point that is deep (like my sc). It is in the range of $350 shipped and extremely heavy, but I hope it will be a nice alternative to the AC Hydraulics DK13 which is a very high end floor jack.

I'd assume so from signature "Previously known as **** BK470 ****"

Sorry BK470, we only allow one screen name on CL
